I can't believe I haven't reviewed this game SOONER!

If you don't want to read my full review on this, here's a summary: THIS GAME IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME! If you like games where you choices effect the outcome of a story that'll have you on the edge of your seat by the midway point, PLAY THIS GAME!!

Now for my more fleshed out thoughts.
I first played through this game 4 years ago and it's story has still stuck with me all these years later. I bought the game solely based on the aesthetics of the few screen-caps I had seen of the game. Best impulse buy ever.
So, firstly, the characters. I'm gonna be honest, I like that I didn't like some the characters during my first run of the game. The characters are written like realistic teenagers. Some are catty. Some are annoying. Because I felt that way, I found myself drawn to making sassy, smarmy comeback in game. And those choice mattered later down the line!
This is definitely a game you have to play multiples times to fully appreciate but it didn't feel like a chore to play over and over, because it matched with the core story mechanic!
Finally, I want to gush about the environment and atmosphere of this game. SO GOOD! Once the inciting incident of the game happened, I was both captivated by how beautiful the environments were but how unsettling and creepy the game progresses the further along in the night you go.

Can not recommend this game enough. The story will leave a lasting impression!
