The game itself is a great improvement to bring Sins to the modern era. Ships move more fluidly, weapons on large ships track independently. Visuals are amazing.

BUT what I am most impressed about is how much support the game is getting post launch. Even small things like adding new planet texture variants is great and extends replayability. With the Content Pass having guaranteed releases so you know what you're getting this is a great game now and a very exciting game for the future.

Just doesn't feel good to play imo, not sure it's a fixable thing with it being this side view. With previous games what the creeper was doing was obvious and made sense. With this one it's like...there's gravity, but not really? And it all being ships that kinda warp around doesn't feel great. If you were instead given parts to design your own ships to fight the creeper that might've been interesting but as it is I find the ships quite uninteresting compared to the towers of the previous games. CW4 was great, I think unless you're a hardcore CW fan that has to play all of them this one can be safely skipped.

I have a PS account but it's so old and I haven't had a PlayStation in so long that I don't know the password. Tried to reset it but the security questions don't work. I'm pretty sure my place of birth hasn't changed since I answered the question. So then I had to contact support and would have to provide details of previous transactions to prove it's mine but heck if I can remember that stuff from 2015. The wait time for a rep was over an hour. I'm not bothering with that, too many other things to play. Why can't they just send a password reset email like everyone else.

The game is functionally a virtual paper weight at this point.

Sometimes when you start playing a game you can just tell it's quality right off the bat. If you like village/city builders this is like scratching that itch right on your lower back that's sooo satisfying.

I tried to give my ox some bran...he spat it in my face and tried to carve me a new nipple.

Honestly just one of the best factory games in existence. It's so enjoyable just watching the excavators work and the trucks scurrying around the island. This new update with the ore sorting is great.

It's worth it for $20, if it was any higher this would be a pass for me.

The rune system is somewhat interesting.

Replayability is not very high, I doubt the horde mode would keep someone's attention for long. Some of the units don't behave right, namely the healers. Instead of sitting behind the melee units and supporting them with heals they just get right in there and die, the shaman especially. Combat can be difficult at first and losing runes when you die is a severe enough punishment that you want to avoid dying as best you can.

Visual are pretty good, though I don't find them as mindblowing as some have claimed here, they're quite nice for pixel art.

The matchmaking in this game sucks really bad. Me and a friend are brand new and we keep dying in every single firefight we get in to prestige 1 or higher rank 100 people. The MMR is pointless because of this.
