If you are a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, this may become your favorite game. If you are a fan of RPGs, this may become your favorite game. If you are a fan of story games, this may become your favorite game.

This is a contender for the greatest game of all time, not joking.

If you enjoy games such as Chivalry and Mount & Blade, this is the game for you. In just a little bit of time, I've had more fun on this game than I've had in countless others. Think of all the best parts of the aforementioned games and you get this, it's truly remarkable. Combined with differing game modes in the base game, such as a horde (wave-based) survival mode to a battle royale, this game will consume many hours from me, and I trust it will you too. Highly recommended.

Has about 5 minutes of gameplay, but that was some of the funniest 5 minutes I've ever had. Highly recommended.

If you like pirates, this is a must-buy. The mechanics are absolutely stellar, the combat is fluid and smooth, and the game runs as smooth as can be.

Highly recommended.

I really didn't expect to like this game, but instead I love it. It's one of those games that have so much replayability, you'll find yourself losing hours to this game. Definitely recommended.

TL;DR AT THE BOTTOM

Life is Feudal is an extremely grindy game (on non-boosted servers at least). If you can handle the grind, however, it has to be one of the most rewarding, fun, and interesting games out there. It puts other medieval survival games (looking at you, Reign of Kings) to shame. Still very unfinished but, in my opinion, it is definitely worth the money.

Pros:
- The game is very rewarding later on. If you can get past the first difficult cliff then you'll be set for a while. It's not like Rust or Ark in that you can wake up one day with everything gone.
- If you have a large group of friends it's a ton of fun. 10 friends in a group could create an entire empire if you work together.
- Very in depth skills. You can level just about any skill you can think of.
- Many, many paths to build your kingdom. If you want to build an underground kingdom, you can. If you'd rather a castle with massive, indestructible walls, you got it. There are infinite numbers of ways to play this game.
- Roleplay potential is crazy. I don't mean roleplay like Skyrim where you level up skills and talk to NPCs. I mean roleplay like SAMP or Project Reality. If you want to get very immersed as the king you are, you certainly can. Check out Mr Moon on YouTube for good examples of Life is Feudal roleplay.

Neutral
- Takes a ton of time to get into. You can put 50 hours into the game without getting anywhere if you swap servers frequently. On games such as Rust, you can get a decent establishment up and running within a day. On Life is Feudal, you need a good 5-6 hours of gameplay for 5 days straight to get something resembling a base.

Cons
- The combat is still pretty meh. It was significantly worse when the game was launched. It's not as good as other medieval combat in games such as Chivalry, but it gets the job done.
- Weird protection systems. In order to protect your items you must make some kind of totem/idol thing and give it frequent sacrifices of herbs. It takes 1-1.5 hours of farming in the first place to make it however if you miss one day of sacrifices then it gets destroyed and your stuff is gone.
- Playing solo is impossible. Well, not technically, but you can't expect to get anywhere in any reasonable amount of time if you dont have a few friends to help you out. Hell, at least one friend will make a huge different.

Please note that quite a few of my personal issues with the game (time investment, mainly) is made null by servers with increased farming rates.

I will edit this review with more pros/cons as I play the game more.

TL;DR - The game is very in depth, tons of fun, and very time consuming. Bring your friends. If you don't have a lot of free time play on an increased rates server. Over all, I'd give it a 8/10 based on my personal enjoyment.

This game is very, VERY similar to the Starcraft II game Mafia. If you've played that and liked it, you'll like Town of Salem
