Amazing game, go in blind for the best experience.

Here is my experience in a nutshell:

>One of the greatest games I've played in 24 years of my life

Easily the top 3 best games I've played, felt so destroyed that there are no more games like it.

Wonderful OST, voice lines, drawings.

Go. In. Blind.

Don't read reviews, don't do anything, just buy the damn game

I fought the law, and, the law won.
I fought the law, and, the law won.

10/10 Most fun I've ever had in a game, best storyline (used to be Days Gone for me)

✅️ Kareoke
✅️ Very engaging, and not at all generic missions
✅️ Driving feels awesome and fun. Better than Battlefield Hardline (but that's more with BF:H being bad)
✅️ A story that pulls you in, beats you up, and gets you coming back like an abusive ex
✅️ Characters you genuinely care about and grow to love, even the "bad" guys
✅️ Graphics that are out of this world for it's time, Hong Kong feels alive. Many games I've played fail in this, here it feels like the streets are bustling with life and energy. As if its the real world.
✅️ Replayability: Lots of things you can do to keep yourself engaged. You can do side missions, go to bars, be police, help the triads, run errands, go on dates. Even after finishing the game, I got an achievement that I completely 25% of all missions and sidequest. My 11 hours of playtime only accounted for 25% of all the things you can do. That leaves 33 hours for a lot more endless fun. Even then, I could play the game over - because it's that much fun.

❌️ The only disadvantage of this game is that it has no sequels, and no movies made after it. I was left feeling immensely disappointed.

I wish there was some kind of DLC I can pay for to keep playing. This game is out of this world.

If you are still reading this, go buy it. It's worth every penny even on full price.

I've personally contemplated playing at first, and heard about it 6 years ago from a friend.

Never took him seriously when he said it's the best game he's ever played.

I wish I'd have listened earlier, he's right. A part of me is happy that I got to experience it right now, since those days are distant and having any clue of what went on would've ruined the campaign for me.

At the same time, I would've have replayed it over and over anyways.

Great game, campaign was a bit too short for my liking >> however the multiplayer has absolutely made up for it.

It's not the best BF game, but it is damn good. You can play a Turk, Cossak, Bolshevik, or anyone of your liking. I loved the fact you can yoink people with a spear, genuinely immerses you into WW vibe, while also being fun.

However, here are also the downsides:
1 - The game is really heavy: 80ish GB of storage gone.
2 - No voice comms in multiplayer? Genuinely had to Google if it was ever even a thing in BF1 (it is). It's one of the things that can make Multiplayer feel really dead at times. I am a huge CS2 fan (2k+ hours) because of how fun it is to have voice chats. I am a programmer, I never leave my house and barely socialize lol, and this is a turnoff for me.

The difference between having a talking team, and a team that doesnt is immense. However, it is still fun.

3 - Only a few select multiplayer gamemodes in BF1 actually have players, conquest for example was consistently only myself. Ditto, there is a server browser >> but due to region, almost all servers are high ping.

Overall, I do recommend the game when its on sale. It's definitely something you would most likely find fun and enjoyable and can probably kill 200+ hours.

Personally, I've uninstalled the game after 11ish hours. Having R.E.P.O, CS2, CIV 6, in my library + work has made it an easy choice for me. I am now waiting to play BF Hardline, and will later on play BF4 as well to reminisce the old days. Again, it's a great game that is absolutely worth the price tag (on a discount) >> but there are just (subjectively) better games available, even for lower end PCs

I enjoyed the game but one thing that grinded my gears was that the mic did not work at all, I've tried all options and made sure that the mic works, increased the volume to max on the ui in the right, and nope, it dint work.

I spend the entire time trying to fix the mic, and ended up wasting 56 minutes

EDIT: I fixed my microphone problems and the game is outstanding and has a lot of chill people, you don't need a vr to play it (ironic I know)

Good game, although it is arguably a "playable game"

Pros:
+Doesn't require godly specs to run , actually, you can run this on windows xp ..
+nicely optimized , many updates
+ developers care about the game ...and the money
+fast paced
+new system protects against griefers
+ global chat
+ you can find a suitable region for you if your ping is high
+many challenges appear once a month or more recent and they give you a chance to get a new tank "free"

Cons
-I feel like the developers took a wrong turn by adding the new gear and equipment update
-paying players have the upper hand
-developers are kinda greedy
-new rich players that get high tier tanks kinda ruin the game since they don't have much experience, which brings me to another con (if you consider it so) you really need to rely on your team , if player doesn't really care or leaves the match , you might not be able to win the match , you need full team dedication
-biased
-p2p
-devs censor negetaive reviews
-the matching system doesn't consider skill , if you are tier 1 and have 10 battles you can be matched with people with over 1000 battles

conclusion:
I would reccomend this game , I really have hopes that the devs will dig themselves out of the hole they dug themselves onto
