The game is great and I love it but because of licensing issues it's unclear if the game will still work after December 15th where it is getting delisted and the Playlists, a large online part of the game, will stop. It is unclear at this time if all of the online components will stop working. It might still be worth it while it's on sale, but perhaps look into other games instead.

There is some jank here. It isn't a perfect game... but it is an amazing one. Immerse yourself in this world and lore, enjoy learning the combat mechanics until you can walk without fear, and then go for one of the cool endings. Even months after I played this game I still get lore videos in my youtube recommended and I watch it every time.

Loved the theme, though I found the events to be hard to complete even after putting in quite a few hours into the table. I consider this a solid table if you like the theme, but a difficult one to master, even if it's pretty easy to get the multiballs.

Firstly, to address the complaints. I have no idea why people are so mad. FX3 still exists. If you have tables on it, you can still play them. If you think it looks better you can just play on FX3. Nobody is forcing you to buy the DLC tables, AND all the remastered tables are the same price as FX3's version, so if you don't have either, you can just get one of them. Also, in terms of "money grubbing" well, if you bought anything on Epic the company gave away copies of it for any other platform of your choice. I, obviously chose steam. Now onto the product.

Pinball FX is a wonderful platform to play pinball on. I got back into pinball because of this game. Sure I played like 3 hours of FX3, but when I found out about FX I jumped ship quickly and never looked back. If you just play this game for the free tables, you'll still have a great time. The rotating free events let you try out a variety of tables every week and the two free tables that everyone gets, Wild West and Sorcerer's Lair are great, and SL is still one of my favourites despite buying a number of DLC tables. There are leader boards for local, friends, and global which are great. All in all the base game is a great pinball experience worth checking out just for the free tables alone.

I've bought a few DLC tables, and I'll review them in depth on their own pages, but if you have any reservations, just wait for a sale and purchase them then, I've found that all the DLC tables are at the very least playable, and I don't hate any of them using my one free day of pinball pass. I got it again when I picked up the steam version and tested the 5 newest tables and they're all really cool. The game is constantly getting content updates, and it's up to you if you want to pay for them or not.

Finally, my one real complaint is the Pinball Pass. It just doesn't make any sense monetarily. It's not good value, you don't get to keep any of the tables going forward, and for only slightly more than a years pass you can just... buy all the tables. What's worse, is you can't play the Marval Pinball tables with the pass. Now, I understand that's probably a licensing issue Zen has no control over... but it does mean that there is no circumstance that the Pinball pass is worth it.

An additional note. As of time of writing these are my favourite tables to play:
Grimm Tales
Sorcerer's Lair
Pasha
Borderlands: Vault Hunter
Marvel Blade
Marvel Thor
Marvel Fantastic Four

It's great. It just is, and apparently the devs can't stop updating it

This is a decent PC port and a good remake, mostly making use of the work done on Yakuza 0. While it is good for what it is, Yakuza 0 stands better by itself, and serves as a more comprehensive entry point.

A really unique action RPG. The combat system takes a bit to get used to but I really enjoyed it. The puzzle can be a bit challenging however they have a difficulty slider as well.

Its like the original but better in every way. The combat is still kinda garbage though.
