Ok this game is not without its flaws, some of the boss fights are beyond annyoning. The controlls can be a bit muddy at times. Occasionally you will get essentially stunlocked until you die ....... mainly by bosses...... Then there is the occasional quicktime event ......

But lets get to the good stuff and OMFG this game has an awesome plotline. Its like Ghost in the shell good. I havn't been this enthralled by a games plot since the first KTOR.

There is also something rewarding when you headshot robots and they start attacking their former allies. More than enough good to overlook some of the iffy boss fights and your AI partners walking directly into your line of fire while you are shooting and getting mad at you(?) over it.

Another awesome point is the voice acting, remember to turn on your subtitles (for some reason off by default?) because some of the game is going to be in Japanese (like when several Japanese characters are talking to eachother) Which I find to be a great toruch that adds depth to the game.

It is a rare event but I think I'm going to give this game a second playthrough :D because AWESOME!

So far fun game very Zelda-esq the only thing really holding it back is fights get annoying. To the point where I frequently find myself closing the game before I punch my LCD. Alas this resulted in frequently loading the game with a somewhat forboding "Oh yeah" as I recall the reason I last closed the game.

It also has a really bad habbit of making you think that "this" is the last round of the fight so its safe to hulk/demon out to walk all over the last two or three boss(?) enemies.... then spawning the last wave of even more powerful enemies leaving you low on health with no super staring down the barrel of "continue from last waypoint"

Don't get me wrong its a decent game and I do enjoy it , the story is interesting and over all the game play is enjoyable.

Firstly this game reminds me a lot of GoldenAxe except adorable!
It can be frustrating at times but its well worth it. I do highly recomend picking up a controller for this game, while not every game is better with a controller this is one of the ones that is.

Oh and 100% of the proceeds for the Blacksmith and the Pink Knight go to charities!
Not only is it a great game but it has DLC that gives you warm fuzzies ta boot!

Really good game, has that oldschool Nintendo platformer feel. I really recommend playing it with a controller. Keyboard controls work but something is just lost in translation. Probably picking up a USB controll pad because this game deserves it!

I was a little skeptical since I have never been huge into tower defense games but I do enjoy a good FPS from time to time. This game does an excelent job of merging the two.

I was somewhat concerned with how the game was going to pull off object placement and interaction but it manages to pull it off with a wonderfully intuitive interface. Being able to jump into the battle also gives it an edge over other tower defense games.

It could stand a few more maps, at present It has 5 maps. However I feel compelled to mention how detailed these maps seem to be, if one chooses to explore around to see what is hidden in them.

My only regret so far is that I wish I had snagged the 4 pack.

I can't explain why .... at first glance this game has all the outward appearances of being about as entertaining as staring blankly into the gaping maw of LabVIEW.

I'm pleasantly pleased to say that initial outward appearance is deceiving, in a good way.

I'm really not sure where the time went but I spent 10hrs in the demo alone. Which probably doesn't say much for my puzzle solving skills. But I was having a blast!

This is one of the games that got me into steam, partly becasue its nhy-impossible to find elsewhere. It has survived the tests of time far better than any other game that has comes to mind. However if your not a fan of Turnbased strategy games then its probably not for you.

It starts off fairly indepth and just keeps digging. If you do start playing I recommend researching the Blaster Launcher as soon as you aquire one from the Aliens. Best weapon in the game, thank god for the most part the game isn't concerned with collateral damage.

Edit: Still one of the best games on PC IMHO and while the new titles are a nice step towards more complex games of yore and while they are visually stunning I still don't feel that they hold a candle to the depth of the original.
