NOTE TO FUTURE COMPLETIONISTS: THIS GAME REQUIRES ONLINE CO-OP TO 100%, EXPECT TO HAVE TO FORM A PRIVATE LOBBY WITH OTHERS AND PLAY FOR ABOUT 4-6 HOURS TO COMPLETE.

This has been an interesting experience, not because I was astounded, but because this is SUCH a mixed bag. It's a 3DS game originally, and this is a PC Port of it. The game itself is alright, it's VERY short at about 3 hours to finish the main story, most of that playing out with a visual novel style narrative that is broken up by combat segments. For combat, you play in a long corridor that is on three rails (Top, middle, or bottom) and you either have to defeat all enemies or defeat a boss, with most combat encounters taking 2 minutes or less to beat. You can play it with the other protagonists to have a unique mission or two when they are outside Solange's party (and to grind money), but I had issues when using the L/R Buttons to try and skip scenes where every so often doing that would freeze the game requiring a restart. The combat sections are not long enough to enjoy the move list and flow of combat, the narrative is simplistic and the characters forgettable, and the upgrade system is basic where everyone can share/use almost every equipment you receive, and there are no real unique or interesting equipment or effects.

As for a port, it seems lackluster and functional (which is about the nicest I could manage to say about it), not really taking advantage of playing on PC. It plays fine on the steam deck and windowed, however since this was a 3DS game originally, this was designed with a bottom second screen readily available. You can access this screen by pressing F5, however this shrinks your gameplay window to half to accommodate the simulated bottom screen which will contain stats and your move list. Doing this made the 3d model renders-turned-sprites even more low quality (which was at least passable and decent looking before). I had to just not use this feature for the majority of my playtime to have a modicum of enjoyment at what I was looking at.

Overall, this is absolutely NOT worth the $15 price tag. I would be hard-pressed to recommend it even at $5.
