Rock & Stone to the Bone!

Signalis is an amazing survival horror experience that I can recommend to any fan of the genre.
You take the role of an Elster (German for Magpie) class android on the search for their missing human friend.

Shenanigans ensue as you figure out more and more about the mining facility you explore. taking care of corrupted androids on the way down.

Really love the game so far, definitely on of the highlights this year!

Brutal Orchestra, a Rogue Like RPG. It's like the name suggest a brutal grimey romp from the start to the end of a run.

Your MC is Nowak the gold skeleton dude on the cover and you're in purgatory. You have no recollection of how you got there but the friendly oil demon Bosch is willing to help you find your killer! So now you set out in the wastes of purgatory to do just that. On the way you pick up items recruit up to 9 party members (10 Slots in total 5 members active in battle) to get to the end. The game pretty much let's you play at your own pace, configure the party before each fight and just breathe after an encounter. It will try to get you to fight the area boss eventually but it seems lenient enough to let you get more stuff first.

Now to the combat, it's simple really. You got a 5x2 grid the upper grid is for your enemies the lower for your party. Each round each party member can move once and perform 1 action. Though all action cost Pigment. An expandable resource you get by hitting enemies. There are 4 types: Yellow, Red, Blue and Purple
Each party member needs different colored pigment to attack and each enemy and ally has different colored health.

Nowak produces 3 yellow pigment each round so you can always do something even if you run out of other colored pigment. Anytime you hit an enemy with any attack they drop 2 pigment of their health color and each time a party member gets hit they produce 1. Also you don't actually need the right color to attack, using the wrong color just makes you take damage. Speaking of damage having too much pigment also damages you so try to not keep more than 10 around (The 3 yellow that are produced each turn do not count towards that limit.

I just did one run so far but the style, music and general feel got me hooked. Definitely worth to buy if you dig Rogue Likes and RPGs.

10/10 will commit Tax Evasion again.

Do you enjoy Touhou? Do you like Metroidvania style games? If you answered yes to at least one of them you will like this game. The gameplay is solid and bossfights are amazing.

It's my favourite Visual Novel. I cannot wait for Nirvana~
