Super Chill. A good mix of thinking and just relaxing with some secrets thrown around.

If you're a fan of games like Fire Emblem or Xcom, this game will not disappoint. The gameplay is rich with different strats to use, strong but fair challenges, and a decent customization system. Each character feels like their own person, having their own side stories, forming bonds with other soldiers, and having abilities change as the story progresses. You do not need to play the previous games to enjoy the story in this one. Speaking of story, it is enjoyable but can get a bit dull at times when all you're doing is listening to talking heads in panels.

Overall, Great for Tactic Based and/or RPG lovers.

When I bought my gaming computer, I got this and other games for free. I tried it out back then and got really bored really quickly. Sometime later, I find myself back in Destiny 2 with loads of friends and interesting things to do. I have fallen in love with this game and all it has to offer. While there are LOADS of cosmetics, I do wish there were more ornaments that weren't strapped behind a paywall or locked to one specific item. By far, my favorite thing about this game is how it handles quests. Sure a lot of quests are GO HERE, SHOOT THING, GO HERE, SHOOT OTHER THING, but it does have many other quests that aren't straight forward and require you to figure things out for yourself using the clues around you. PVP is great, PVE is great, whatever the Gambit is suppose to be is great, I have found my new addiction. Until Pokemon hits... and then Monster Hunter Iceborne... and whenever Darkest Dungeon 2 comes out... Good game!

Taking the Slay the Spire approach of gameplay and applying as the battle mechanics, this game is very fun. Tons of ways to build your team and build each member's deck. If you enjoy Slap the Spire, you'll greatly enjoy this. With that said, the story is very, very bland. Characters will join the party for no real reason, reveals happen with a meh reaction, motivations are weak, villains are also weak in character and motivation, overall, just a bland story. I don't want to call the story bad, just not interesting and I often found myself skipping the story to start exploring. And for an RPG to have a bland story, that would be the killer for this game. Thankfully the gameplay is very fun, as I said. Exploration isn't very interesting as well. Puzzle are few and very simple. Treasure isn't that hard to find.

Basically, the story is bland, the characters are bland, the villains are bland, exploring is bland. Everything that makes an RPG an RPG is very, very bland. Thankfully the battle mechanic is super fun, fun enough for me to recommend this game if you enjoy strategy games and Slay the Spire.

Being a long time player of games like this, pouring hundreds of hours into games like Xcom, Darkest Dungeon, and Fire Emblem, this game caught my attention. I didn't pick it up until it showed up as a Humble Bundle Monthly game. At that point, I not no excuse to not try it. I love this game a lot, very close in gameplay to that of the Xcom series. I love how this game allows you to roam around and stalk into combat rather than just being given an objective with a specific time limit. The ambush approach is great, letting you set up your how you want to enter combat and generally letting you take the first shot unless you screw up horribly. The RNG is simple and easy to understand. And the loadouts are noticeable and interesting. My only complaint is I wish there were a few more quality of life things added such as comparing items and weapons with stuff in the shop or being able to see specific info about gear or powers while in combat. But this are minor complaints and not anything that takes away from the game. Good game overall.

I love this game.

You want a No Man Sky game that is actually worth playing, has a fun story, and can be played with friends? This is the game for you... in 2D. Many worlds to explore, homes and bases you can build and fill with NPCs, tons of weapons to find, loads of quests, upgrading your ship, collecting a crew, collecting pets, farming, mining, decorating, this game has all that and more!

Right, first off, the good stuff: Beyond what I just mentioned, it doesn't shove all of it in your face and expect you to do it. It takes it slow, and gives you the option. You can build a base but you don't have too. You can farm, but you don't have too. You can mine... well, that one is a must to progress the story. Either way, the game gives you options without making you feel like you HAVE to do any of it. The combat is simple, Terraria style. And the game doesn't punish you for not taking quests you don't want to do. Plus, it has an epic story that will take you all over the universe.

So, are their any bad things? Yes. I kept getting hit with lag spikes in areas where I have done a lot of work and the tentacle door (you will know what I am talking about). These lags would make the game unplayable at times, which is a shame given one of those areas was my home. Side Quests get very repetitive, HOWEVER, you really only need to do these quests if you want more Crew members. But still, I don't really recall ever having fun doing fetch quests or traveling around the world just to beat up a Glitch that stole some iron ore. While exploring bases, castles, and temples was fun, it got old when all the those places look the same and the only challenge the game gives you is fighting a slightly stronger captain.

With all that said, get this game. If you are a fan of Terraria, Minecraft, and like RPGs, AND want to have that No Man Sky experience without getting NMS, this is the game for you.

Fun but very, very hard without mates to play with.

This game gets a strong recommendation from me due to the amazing pixel art, fantastic controls, interesting layouts, and the diverse characters. However, if you wish to tackle this game, you are either going to need some friends to play with (locally or online) or be willing to grind and grind and grind. That is really the only bad thing I can say about this game, you will have to replay levels just to get your character where he needs to be to make the game fun. Because of this, at times, it feels like a chore rather than a game. BUT, that is the only bad thing I have to say about this game. If you like fighting like games, platformers, and/or action adventure, and want a game to play with friends, Warlocks vs. Shadows is amazing.

I recommend this but with a big warning.

The game is simple, you play a role and try to meet your objective while others are trying to meet theirs. Some of you will be towns people, who are trying to lynch all the evil killers such as the Mafia and the Serial Killer. Some of you are the Mafia, you work together to kill off the town. Some of you might be the Jester, who just wants to get lynched!

The game is all about Role Playing and Bluffing while trying to figure out who else is Bluffing. You chat with eachother, vote, lynch, uses you powers at night, repeat. Simple and a ton of fun.

Here is my warning, the developer's most recent update seems to leave the game with a lot of glitches. While I am sure these will be fixed eventually, it was very sad and upsetting to see the devs care more about improving microtransactions than improving their game. You can also play this game FOR FREE through your internet browser. You do get more stuff by purchasing through Steam but the choice is up to you.

Still, if you get this game, have fun, don't be mean, and prepare to die... or kill. :)

I ran an organization for my college. At one point, I ran a tournament called the Indie Rush Tournament. In this tournament, each round would feature a different indie game where everyone earned points. After 5 rounds, the top 4 players went on to a final round. I made this game one of the rounds and it was so much fun! I normally don't like FPS that are only multiplayer but this game though, this game is an exception because of how it is played. Everyone is invisible! They only way you can find someone to shoot them is but SCREEN CHEATING! Hints the name. I also have to give the dev props for constantly updating this game and keeping it fresh. Fun! Get it! GET IT NOW!!!
