I recently got a virus on my computer and now everytime I try to load this game it says its launching it and it doesnt do anything. Any advice?

i need help. when i was playing this and watching a guide, i switched back to the game and it was hell of glitchy so i went back to the windows page and the game closed, but every time i click play on the game in my library it says its running anybody know what to do, i have only used steam for about a month now
