My friends convinced me to buy it and we played for about 4 hours before they got bored and quit, and since one of them was hosting the world I'll have to start over if I wanna keep playing. It was fun though. It feels very similar to Valheim but like if Valheim had put more focus into the level system, with certain levels unlocking abilities. Combat doesn't feel great currently, but I'm sure part of that could be because of lag from not being the server host. We didn't get very far with progression before my friends quit, The progression from what I have seen is an odd choice for a game that flaunts the name Runescape in the title. You get an abyssal whip before you get iron tools. Obviously a lot missing in the current state, with melee being the only combat skill you can get levels in. Still pretty fun regardless. I'd say overall probably a 7/10. I'll be interested to see how it is once it's finished. Probably not worth the $30 in the current state, but I doubt it'll be worth whatever the increased asking price is on full release. Probably just wait for it to go on sale.

Three months after release and they just released a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ roadmap for the bug fixes and balancing changes that come with this dlc. The only two redeeming qualities of this dlc are the maps and the music. Don't give gearbox any more money, they don't deserve it.

Fun and free extra content. Good story that fits in the plot of the original game well. Overall the dev team did a great job on this.

The puzzles hold your hand through every step and feel like they're geared towards young kids. Nunu and Willumps dialogue is annoying and tries too hard to be funny. At one point I tried turning off dialogue for gameplay and turning it back on during cutscenes and it genuinely made the game feel better. I'm sure somebody would really enjoy this game but it's not for me.

The game plays almost more like a movie than a game, but it is a great story. The whole blinking mechanic feels like a novelty and I turned it off halfway through the playthrough, but I kept in mind that it was designed for it and I would continue the story every time I blinked anyways.

Well made survival sandbox with hours of content. Lots of fun with friends. For only $20 it's well worth a try.

An immersive story with multiple possible endings that change based on what you do throughout your game, and fun gameplay mechanics. If you're looking for a good singleplayer game to throw a few hours into, this game's worth trying out.

Some of the best movement in a game I've seen in a long time making for some incredibly fun gameplay, but kind of a lackluster story.

Once you get past the somewhat disorienting perspective that comes with 0g (there is no down!), it's one of the best space sandbox games out there.
