There are some minor graphical glitches, chances of encountering some odd crashes, and the launch car variety is lacking in older models for my tastes (90's RWD where you at)

There is the topic of online connection possibly being required for content past the "starter cars" and I'm interested in how that is going to be handled.
Currently the Online functionality has been disabled and what the selection that was meant to be rental cars have been given out to everyone in the offline mode.
One guide does have screenshots and talks about some of the actions you could take which have caught my curiosity.

How that pans out could change my opinion depending on if:
- It's always online, and no connection means *only* the 6 starter cars
- The dealerships and rentals being online, but bought cars being saved in your offline garage. (they have the ability to dump the cars into your account, given they've granted us access to the full 20)
- If they have plans and the ability to enable the online functionality in offline play, in the event of an EOL scenario for Evo.

Worst case it ends up being only the 6 starter cars, and no EOL support, I would not be able to recommend it guilt free, no matter how excellent.

It's a lot of fun and I would always choose it over AC given the same selection.
The only thing stopping me from not playing more is that the 45th lap of Laguna Seca or Suzuka just doesn't hit the same as the 15th lap of the Nordschleife, and my primary car interest being before 1998.

TL;DR
In it's current state as an EA release, it has a solid foundation and familiar handling to Assetto, although more realistic.

The final statement I have is that when I do pull out the rig and play Evo, I don't go and play AC instead.
