A unique survival game in the fact that it requires you to go into the mindset of learning, I have 1k+ hours and I still continue to learn every time I log on, definitely frustrating, definitely addicting, definitely worth it, play with a friend or not, I have about half my time spent as a solo, and I love it just as much as when me and all my friends get on to play together. Its hectic, it requires skill, brains, and every ounce of time it can squeeze out of you, but damn, is it fun. 10/10 would get bullied as a solo again.

I recommend this game for alot of reasons, the vast co-op, the many dungeons to explore, and the trading. Realm is a game that comes far and in between, its kind of weird that way, you either love it, or hate it, there isnt much a gray area. Although the game is somewhat pointless, it is a big time killer. The main thing about realm is the learning curve. You cant just start and be an expert, no matter how much of the wiki you read (Trust me ive tried). I'd give realm a 8/10, Lots to explore, but once youve seen it all... Youve seen it all, and there isnt much more to do than that.
