The bones of a great game. A dedicated sound designer and graphics designer would do wonders for this project. Here's hoping theres enough support (from both the community and the dev) to get this game to where it should be

After 40 hours I finished the game, at level 49. I still have loads of content to tackle, including the DLC. One of the best RPGs I've ever played

I intentionally left myself in the dark about this game for the last 2 years waiting for the PC release. Man, I'm glad I did.

Guerrilla took everything great about the first game and amplified it. Nixxes did an exceptional job at porting this game to PC. The only issue with the port I have is the weapon wheel. Not a single crash, freeze, or bug in 40 hours. Astounding in this year

As an experience, probably the best DLC I have ever played. The only thing that comes close is Blood and win for TW3.
If you like 2077, just buy it man.

If I had to describe "Reborn: in one word?

Flacid.

The year is 2011, and you are an 11 year old with access to the internet, and a love for scifi. Your dad got you into mechwarrior, and the itch for big stompy robots will forever consume your mind. Tribes, UT2004, Quake 4, Halo and BLACK has brought you to love FPS games.
You stumble away from your typical Yogscast videos and find an official gameplay video of hawken. A game that seemed too good to be true. A blend of mechs and twitch shooters? It was the nail in the coffin for you. Time to mow enough yards to get your own gaming PC. Minecraft and Hawken can't hide from your grubby fingers forever, and your PS2 just isnt cutting it anymore

I will always have fond memories of Hawken. While not the sole influence, Hawken plays a part in what got me deep into the tech world. It's definitely a title which will never leave my memory.
Which is why Hawken "Reborn" leaves me with nothing but vitriol.

I have nothing against the switch to a PvE format, or a single player only title. I don't have a specific problem with early access titles, or micro transactions. However, when the game has nothing redeeming it and also stacks all those other attributes, it rapidly closes in on boycott territory. I will not be spending the time to do a detailed breakdown about all of the failings I noticed in less than 30 minutes of game play. If the devs are going to make this game good, the road is VERY well lit

Somehow looks and sounds worse than the 2011 gameplay of Hawken did. Texture resolution is better im sure. The art direction is pallid, and the sounds are hollow or non exsistent

If the idea of a roguelike FPS even remotely appeals to you just buy it. Blows Gunfire: Reborn out of the water in my opinion. Soundtrack is incredible, and there isn't that much BS to kill you unlike some roguelikes. Co=op is a massive selling point for me and this game does it very well
