SWAT 5 in everything but name.

This is a damn fine SWAT game.

Wasn't expecting much going into this game only to be blown away by the depth of it. There's more to this game than with most AAA title releases for 1/3 the cost. Normally judge games based on if I can hit at least a dollar an hour play time. This is gunna be one of those games where I'm paying fractions of a penny for each hour of entertainment.

Fantastic game

Everytime I join a MP lobby I get banned after saying hello. I'd say the community is trash but I haven't been able to play yet. Community is non-existent.

The games cool, the style is nice to look at, the mechanics are pretty fun, and the world they've built is one to explore. The community is why I don't recommend this game. I've put in hours to play, try to be peaceful, and it's always a clan of 50 dudes who just roll up and kill you and camp your walker. It's just not fun. Wouldn't recommend.

Games just bad. Poor interface, changing controls is a nightmare due to weird naming scheme like UAUI_STR_DIK like, what the hell does that even mean? There is no way to see what anything means. Game was aight as a mod for Arma 2 but it's got nothing going for it now.

I've been waiting for a Monster Hunter world PC release since they shut down the PS2 servers for Monster Hunter in 2007. Over a decade later I'm playing a fantastic sequel to one of my all-time favorite games. I cannot recommend this enough.

Rise of the Republic is a great addition to Rome 2's DLC. The detailed map of Italy and the surrounding areas looks fantastic and the setting of pre-republican/roman italy is a great setting. When you jump in you'll see Rome isn't the top dog it is in the base game but a faction struggling to find it's place in the world, there are spartans in the south, fist fighting lolei to the west, and murderous barbarians to the north. It's great. I've been enjoying it immensely and the map is perfect for Versus campaigns or co-op.

While the game does have some server side issues, this early in the EA of it I can say this games got serious potential to be great. Atmosphere is a big part of what makes a game great for me and this game has atmosphere to spare. The gun play is slow and methodical. Lighting is amazing and playing at night is one of the most tense and fun experiences of this game. I really hope to see where it goes as EA goes on but so far it's looking good.

In my opinion the pinnacle of the series at least until they beat it in the future. Shogun 2 and it's expansions offer something for everyone. In Rise of the Samurai you have a great campaign to play co-op with a friend. In the vanilla base game you have some amazing castles and battlefields that really do look like works of art. Fall of the Samurai has an atmosphere in it's battles that hasn't been matched yet. I will be playing this game for years.
