I played a lot of Tony Hawk's games in my life and, when I saw that this is labeled as a "skate simulator" I quickly jumped on it, as I wanted something more realistic than grinding all the way on a roller coaster and stuff. In a surprising way, there's a story behind everything to keep the player engaged, or else the game would sometimes get boring quickly. You don't HAVE TO play the 'story', but it gives you certain advantages. At the same time, the story is also a sort of tutorial, as the main missions teach you how to do everything, from simple to the most complicated.
Sometimes I had to look up certain missions on the internet as the game is very lacking when it comes to explaining at some points. Sometimes I also asked myself if some of the missions that make me rage quit are even possible, considering that there are so many ways to customize your board in order to be faster, turn quicker, jump farther and so on, which I never really remembered.
The game doesn't have a points system as the point of the game is to be creative and have fun. It has a built-in playback/video system in order to make it easier to record your tricks with NVidia Shadowplay. I have plenty of those videos already saved. It's also easy to try again with the checkpoint system in case you ruined your line at some point.
I love the fact that there are so many variations and combinations of moves, depending on how hard you press the triggers on your controller, the way you point the thumbsticks and the way you face.
It's an easy game to learn, but a very hard one to master, which makes everything so much satisfying when you FINALLY get a trick done right.
There's a subreddit dedicated to this game and it's incredible the way some people can play this game and edit their videos.
It's one of the most rewarding games I have played recently.

I finished this game in 3 and a half hours. It was amazing.
The graphics are very beautiful. Considering that it is a game centered around nature and exploration, looking this good is very important.
Mainly it is an exploration game, however linear in order to tell the story. I never felt constrained to go only one way and the path comes naturally.
It is beautiful and wholesome with not many fighting sequences. I totally recommend this as a relaxing game.

A very relaxing game for enthusiasts. I prefer this over any car mechanic sim because motorcycles seem to be much simpler to work on. The mechanics are very simple, just like every other mechanic simulator.
What I dislike is the very slow progression. I played the demo back when it was announced and I leveled up very quickly, the game taught me how to spray parts and repair them, and I don't know where to do that in the main game. I guess I haven't unlocked everything yet.
You can customize your garage, but you can't really interact with anything.
After you fix the bikes, you can test them around a track. I hate that the bikes are VERY hard to maneuver.
Otherwise, I totally recommend the game. I love it and I will keep playing it as I can skip the parts where I ride the bike and I don't feel like death.

A game who stood the test of time. It's been out for more than a few years and it still has a pretty big player base. Very fun to play with friends, but it's meant to be played by yourself, because of the game's mechanic against players communicating through words.
The community seems much more survivor-oriented nowadays, as I met a lot of killers who just help survivors escape. Yes, it takes a bit of the edge off when you don't fear the killer so much, but it's fun nevertheless.

Early Access Review
Coming from someone with hundreds of hours in the other games, I want to say that this surpasses all of them through the fact that it is even more detail-oriented.
-there's more than just lords that you want to please and keep a good relation with
-no more "listen for good trade rumours" in the marketplace. You have to go and talk to the people in the city to find out those rumours (I hated this tbh, too time consuming)
-the general population is racist af (if you are a Vlandian but join the Western Empire, the villagers will hate you and loyalty will drop significantly)
-in my experience, it's not so easy to find tournaments
All in all, it's an amazing game, but get it on sale.

I started playing this on my phone and then I wanted to see if I can play it on my PC. I was happy to see it's on Steam and I can just run it in the background all the time.
The game is very catchy and easy to understand. Can run very well in the background while you work or attend classes and check on it every now and then.
There are some things you must pay for in order to unlock, but you can very well play without unlocking them. They're optional.
Very nice way to pass the time.

Very fun game especially if you have at least 2 friends.
The only con is that you can cross platform with people playing on their phones. This wouldn't usually sound like a downside, but in the evenings, you can barely create a room because the servers can't keep up with how many players there are.

A fantastic game!
Most of the people already played this as it came out a long time ago, but I never had a PC good enough for this game until now, and fortunately I refrained from watching a playthrough on YouTube.
The devs were really detail-oriented when they made this game. And I am not talking only about the clues you must find and interrogations and everything, I am talking about the atmosphere and the city. Unlike other games, this map doesn't feel empty when you roam around. There's usually NPCs driving around and walking. They went the extra mile and gave the map "life". If you walk around, you hear people talking about you or the events from the story, you see them working, rummaging through the trash in alleyways, fixing their cars, and all kinds of activities, which gives the atmosphere a much more believable character.
The game is long(ish). I played for 24 hours up to this point and I have one more desk of cases to solve. My guess is that I will spend around 30 hours total in this game.
Totally worth buying it. Seeing as it is pretty expensive, I recommend buying it on sale though.
