Over 450 hours into this game and I really enjoy it. Yes, people complain about it and are not happy that it is a online variant of the series. But after all the updates and tweaks they have made, it's evolved into something much better compared to when it first launched. You could ALMOST say it has a NoMan'sSky "story" to it's evolve in game play. This has been great for solo play and grouping up with my friends(Yes, I have those). If you are, "on the fence" as they say, I would recommend waiting till they have a sale of course. But honestly if you aren't sure you would want to wait that long, the story takes some time(and they are planning on adding more to it) and you have of course many side missions and Dailies that can help distract you along the way. So the time of game play for just the story, in my opinion, is worth the $40 USD I spent.
