Admittedly, this game had me surprised like most of the shows and games that displays interesting and cute characters

...in an inner morbid reality.

So far, Cult of the Lamb surprised me even now, esp. since this game keeps getting constantly updated. Truthfully, I rarely play it nowadays, but so far it hasn't been disappointing, combining both managing the cult AND doing dungeon delving while worrying also about the state of the cult during that.

Would recommend people to play they if they are a bit of both. Just... make sure not to run out of follower, yeah? You will regret it.

Having played this game for some times, I daresay this game deserves a thumbs up. If you haven't played this game, or if you have the itch for similar games to Final Fantasy Tactics, I definitely recommend playing this game.

If you are the kind that loves to discover more than one branch into the story, this is the kind of game for you. You can also adjust the difficulty at any time, make it simple so you can enjoy the story, or be masochistic and try to clear everything on expert.

All in all, I really enjoy this game to its end. Good job, Sungazer Software.

UPDATED:
As of 26th June 2023, I came to realize that this company has fired their female CG artist over allegation I rather people look at themselves.

Because of this, the controversy over Project Moon has made me changed my direction to a simple no. Game is fun, but if it comes from a company that supports those who rather show signs of sexualize like bikini to the point they will target female worker to get fired over their old post, I won't support them.

Tread lightly, folks. I will revert this if they revert what they did, but chances are they won't, and I won't either.

ORIGINAL:
I have played this game for a while now, and I have to say, my opinion for this game is... mixed at the most.

The good:
* I liked how the designs are held for this game. Appearance, OST, and design wise, they are pretty great and a huge stepup since their previous game.
* Theres a way to earn the E.G.O and other rewards without needing to worry about the Gacha or timing.
* The story so far are interesting and somehow more dramatic or comedic, depending on how you look at it. The character seems lively and passable enough not to feel boring.
* Because of element reintroduction since the Lobotomy Corporation, unlike swapping identities, the resistance and weakness of the element/sin remains the same of each sinner, which really forces you to utilize all of your sinners instead of just sticking to the few you favor more. Really good since I expect future chapters to really utilize on them.

The bad:
* While theres a way to get them without going to Gacha, most of these benefits are only usable once you cleared Chapter 2. And if you don't set your team well, you won't be able to reap the benefits of the feature.
* Games can get pretty repetitive over time, especially when you are trying to grind for EXP for your sinner and their identities. Tickets for levelling up are scarce and are technically (atm) only obtainable through Mirror Dungeon and Battle Pass Seasons (with paid pass)
* Need I mention: Bugs? I already ran into a few, especailly the cutscenes during dungeon raids in between entrance to the next floor.

The neutral:
* I really love how they kept some of Library of Ruina combat style, and also their legacy alpha as well. Although unless you are fighting an abnormality, its difficult to guide the sinner on whom to attack the enemies. Even more so when you can only gain an extra action per sinner after all other sinners already caught up in a battle.
* Since this is an online game oddly on a single-player setting, idk what Project Moon is doing with this as this means you need an active network to even play this game. And don't get me started on the fact the iOS/Android requires decent system specs not to screw up your gameplay.

Overall I would recommend this game, but I won't recommend buying anything from them, unless they plan on giving excuses for people to buy "Lunacy" currency via promotion... or through events.

At first, I was skeptical about getting this game for reasons I am not going to mention. However, after trying to game several times, I am amazed how much you can invest into this game for hours on end, and never get easily bored with idealized scenarios... and free organs, but that will be for another time.

You can either start off with a lot of goodies, but are a bounty target for pirates, or start off naked in the middle of nowhere, perhaps at the damp forest, nearly lifeless desert, or frozen waste, if you are adventurous, and go up from there. It is truly flexible, even after awhile, and mods won't tire you out either, showing for more flexibility to gameplay.

I really hope more additions can be made to the game however. But in the end, I truly recommend this game. You can be whatever you want, and decide how you want to play it completely.

I liked this game when I bought it, almost similar to FTL, but with Convoy and Cars! I expect some possible mods within this game once its permissible, since it has a lot of possible modification. The map can get repetitive at times because of its same map appearance, but the faction zone and the random signal appearance makes up for it... even though a fresh new map would be better at times. I even made a wiki for this game, seeing FTL has a wikia as well, and I don't see any for this yet since it was recently released.
