"At the end of the day, isn't that the ultimate point of a villain? As much as we hate the villains, they're a necessary evil. They push us to our absolute limit. They motivate us to aspire for something greater. Without any villains to defeat, the role of a hero is meaningless. Everyone is the protagonist of their own story, and we're free to choose our antagonist based on our own beliefs and attitudes toward the world. From a certain point of view, everyone can be either reviled or revered. So be careful who you call the bad guy, because one day you might just end up feeling sympathy for the villain."

Uncle U's Guide on How to Beat Stronger Opponents on Survivor Even if You Suck in Chase
Are you newer to the game (< 2,000 hours)?

Are you weaker at looping?

Don't worry, you'll be fine :offspring:. Just follow the instructions below and you'll be able to hold your own against players that are much stronger than you.

Rule 1: Never group up early game. Always spread out and work separate generators
Exception: A centrally located gen that is part of a tight 3 gen

Rule 2: When another Survivor is in chase, you NEED to be on a generator. Chase time is the main currency for killers; gen time is the main currency for survivors. If survivors are not on gens, the killer gets a more valuable exchange rate per second of chase

Rule 3: If you hear the killer coming, HIDE! Always take chase as a LAST RESORT regardless of your skill level
Exception: If you are in a SWF with coms

Rule 4: If the killer finds you, play windows first and pallets last. Pallets are a valuable asset with limited supply. As such, only drop them when it's an emergency. NEVER drop a pallet when you are healthy.
Exception: Twins, Blight, Trickster, Tombstone Myers

Note: If you're unsure if the killer will be able to hit you before you make the pallet, DON'T DROP IT. Just keep running through

Note: Killers are less likely to respect safe pallets and more likely to respect unsafe pallets. Use this to your advantage

Note: Always aim to break line of sight. If the killer doubles back or tries to mindgame, take advantage of this and W key away towards a safer looping structure. If you are already at the safest looping structure that's close by, W key to the furthest possible location from the killer within the looping structure.

Rule 5: Always unhook a survivor at the last possible second. Survivors have anti-camp AND 70 second hook time. 70 seconds is 80% of an entire generator. Use this time to work on gens.
Exception: If the killer has clearly committed to another chase far away from the hook

Rule 6: If the killer decides to tunnel, do NOT help the survivor being tunneled unless they are on death hook with >3 gens remaining. If the killer is focusing on one survivor, that leaves 3 survivors available for separate gens. By the time he tunnels them out, the remaining survivors will be in a much better position to escape the match.

Rule 7: ALWAYS take chase as far away as possible from generators and other survivors.

Beginner builds I recommend:

Lithe, Lucky break, bond, windows of opportunity

Sprint burst, Deja Vu, Parental Guidance, Lightweight

Renewal, Botany Knowledge, Leader, Adrenaline

hope this helps :)
