Even after 4 years they can't fix the language selector ... if i set the game's language to English, i don't want to see badly translated non-English words based on my PC's system language.
This is just pure incompetence.

For this price point and as a smaller ARPG, it's quite enjoyable. I'm looking forward to what they'll add during the EA period.
There are a lots of rough edges, the combat is not as smooth as I would like it to be, but one can get used to it.
The maps are gorgeous and big, while the biomes have their own unique atmoshpere.
The Ancestral Grid is am interesting take on the skill system, tho it's a bit annoying to manage (you can easily run out of space in your inventory and there is no stash for fragments).
My only bigger gripe is that the music is way too repetitive and it can be annoying after a while. Apart from this, it's a solid EA release with a lot of potential.

Longer and better than the first in all aspects, if you liked that one, you'll love this.
I can't wait for the continuation of the story!

The atmosphere is really on point. Centering the game around the fear of the unknown makes it an interesting experience.

Most unfun experience i had in a long while, starting from bad audio design (you can't really tell from where the shots come from), really bad servers (EU with 150ms and constant rubberbanding on official servers playing from EU), clucky movement system (you constantly stuck on things or can't properly aim while prone or random invisible walls) to performance problems (from fixed 60 fps to 8 fps randomly that only death fixes).

Played 100+ hours in Alpha and during the Next Fest, it had good potential, just to end up as another game in the junk pile that was killed by greed, overmonetization and sheer incompetence.

Time limited bundles up to 60+ eurs, a CS:GO crate like system where you have to pay to unlock your EARNED crates (you have to be in the top 25% in warfare mode to maybe get one, or extract them in Operations) but the rewarded skins have a 0-5 quality (more and more dirty), events where the rewards are so random that you can't even be sure if you could get everything. Short seasons and way too many events that it feels like they want you to play the game 8 hours a day or even more.

Warfare mode is totally unplayable due to either explosive spam or vehicle spam or really questionable kills (like most of the time if feels like half of the enemy team is using aimbot).
Operations is mostly fine and could be fun, but your teammates that instantly loot your kills is bordeline annoying. Like even in firefights they rather ninjaloot a kill than to help you.

Their support is also totally incompetent, both the people and the site, they hardly understand the issues and when you try to reply to tickets sometimes you can't, because there is no reply button, nor any ID for the ticket that you can reference if you want to open a new one. Plus their replies feel like AI generated blanket texts, like the same copypasted parts and asking for irrelevant informations or something that they should already know ... well a "human" would already know (like my account's email address ... when i sent the ticket from the logged on account, so they could literally check that information).

A chill little game with more depth than you would first think.

It has everything: unique art style, hours of exploration, tons of loot, proper visual customization (attachments, armors), squad management (different characters for everyone's needs) and the list goes on.

Compared to the original mobile game, the developer actually made multiple changes to make the game feel like an actual PC game, not just a mobile port, which is a rare thing nowadays and really commendable.

Played the demo on Steam (before release) for hours, seemed unpolished but somewhat enjoyable while the main issues were that none of the systems were properly explained and the mobile UI.

With release not much changed apart from the added pile of microtransactions, FOMO premium character banners with a disclaimer that "special characters will not enter the normal gatcha pool" and all the hated mobile monetization systems ... they didn't even bother to change the mobile related text lines, like "TAP to continue".

Just stay away.

Ohh yeah and a small cherry on top: you can't even choose your own account name, they give you a random one, you don't like what you got, well, you can't change it.

There are hardly any positives in this game apart from being able to play on PVE servers. It is playable yes, but it's a totally frustrating experience most of the time.

- Hitreg is a joke: Close combat it's mostly fine, but when you try to use scopes (4-6x) even if you see the enemy flinch from your shots it mostly doesn't register (you can check their bodies afterwards to confirm it).
- AI are totally broken: They ignore the foliage and perfectly know where you are the moment you shoot (even with suppressors), snipers can 360 noscope you from 300 meters after 0.5 seconds if you miss your first shot on them (or if you don't hit vital organs). They ignore damage and can still perfectly beam you after hitting them multiple times.
- Audio is totally busted: Directional audio hardly works, most of the times you can't even tell if you are being shot at. You can't tell the distance of sounds, sometimes it's in the next bush, sometimes 3 bushes away. Sometimes you can't even hear the AI walking next to you.
- Performance is just bad: Instead of improving with each patch, it gets worse and worse. Sniper scopes are implemented badly and the moment you use any scopes you'll lose 20-40 fps.
- Doesn't respect your time at all: Heli waiting simulator. Plus periodical full wipes because "it's a work in progress".

Lots of jank, but the idea and the atmosphere is good, and It has potential once they balance it better and add more features.
Currently once you realize that you are not "that" weak (plenty of ammo, suppressors, grenade launchers), it loses most of its appeal.
Based on this, i would probably still recommend it, but ...

On the other hand, the water mechanic that wipes out most of your progress if you don't play the game once in a while is just atrocious and no matter how good or bad other parts of the game are, i cannot recommend the game because of it.

(Yes, it's not that hard to get water, in ~45 hours i have over 300 days of water, but still, forcing players to "log in" and farm a resource in an offline game just to not delete their progression is just a really bad idea.)
