The best part of the game is the community that fights for managed democracy. This is the first Sony game in over a decade I found enjoyable, but they managed to screw that up. Hope they turn it around, but I appreciate all the Hell Divers fighting for their peers and against corruption. They should all be proud of their community. I hope I can change this review in the future.

Update: The community fought for their fellow Helldiver's and won. No Helldiver left behind. Fantastic game. Even more amazing community.

Any time I threw a pebble the enemy killed me. I'm sure I am missing something, but it is the failing of the game for not doing anything to instruct. Tried the mission 3 times, then uninstalled. Avoid.

I play pretty much every new XCOM/FTL clone and this game was disappointing. The art was nice, but the combat is poor, leveling is not impactful and the core gameplay loop wasn't satisfying. Avoid.

The music and graphics for this game are great. It is very similar to XCOM and FTL, and the world is interesting. Unfortunately, the gameplay is mindnumbingly boring. I decided to play longer than 2 hours, hoping the gameplay would open up, but each and every engagement is exactly the same. Save your money.

One of the absolute best games of all time. Phenomenal!
