First time playing with my group, we go into void warp, all our pilot hears is screaming and then silence. They get out of the cockpit and see their crew, plastered on the bulkhead, a new form of pancake art.

From then on, when any of us hear the term "Seatbelt" we frantically panic to find somewhere to lock ourselves in.

10/10, would become pancake again.

Ok first and foremost, Steam users, can we all agree that we don't want this game to die out. THIS is what we want in games.
We all have that one friend that prefers RTS over everything, we all have a few friends that will only touch FPS. We also have those friends that only want to mine and be the backbone of industrial progress. How many games can we all play together?
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ none. Until now.

My fellow gamers, from all paths of gaming, this is the battlefield we can become united on. This is the hill we can die on with a smile. Bohemia, Don't you dare give up on this.

Anyways, sentiments aside. As of now the game is totally playable in its Early Access stage. Awesome. My first playthrough with a few friends I was commanding the aliens and swarmed them. They were all Sol-Human FPS. I relished in their screams and bouts of bloodlust. They relished in my agony of the swarm I sent their way not being enough. Together, we enjoyed watching the A.I lay down enough fire across an empty field to rival the sun.

As for how playable, I'd give it a 7/10, Some glitches or mishaps are relatively common but easy to navigate around/through. Not to bad. Not perfect, but not bad.

As of this moment, I have no regrets about the 4 copies I bought of this game.

Update: still a blast to play, and yeah I know there have been others, but these games are rare and far between. The new tutorial was great to come back to, absolutely loved the chaos. Can't wait for more.

I've only put 9 hours into this game, but those 9 hours were possibly the most epic and fail induced hours in my life of gaming. I've seen some pretty funny ♥♥♥♥, but nothing beats mistaking some gas pumps from a rooftop as a hostile squad and scolding my team mate for it, only to be under fire in a matter of seconds from litterally every other direction. battle buddy, if your out there reading this, I'm looking for you.

P.s Those poor kids...

I've currently got 3 hours into this game and can honestly say thus far I am not disappointed. I've been playing on normal difficulty going in knowing very little of any controls for anything at all and the tips the game provides as you go along are quite helpful, it even includes its own built in wiki so alt tabbing/shift tabbing to search up how to do things has yet to happen. My towns been attacked 4 times and my people have successfully killed off their assailants thanks to a set of bows and other weapons provided by fallen invaders.

Building a man trap indoors worked out pretty dang good.

TL;DR
Gameplay: Enjoyable, however the map sizes could be bigger(pretty please?)
Graphics: kinda cutesy but othe wise appealing
BUGS: TBD(3 hours ain't enough for me to give a solid answer, but so far I haven't experienced any)
Price: 25 is a honestly about right for a game like this, I enjoy games such as this and knew after the initial hour I could easily get 50 hours out of it if not more.

For starters, I love this game. However it does have its own battles, not of the bright shiny laser light show kind either. The graphical elements are wonderful, when it comes to visuals, sounds and the all around atmosphere of the game, everything is quite all right, if not perfect. Moving on to the however, in the event you yourself are not self driven, and for the sake of clarity, I mean you require a storyline, a path to follow, a goal to be set for you, you will not enjoy this game as much as someone who sets goals for themselves.

When I first started playing, I decided I would do trade until I could find a group to follow, or a system to call home, something. For quite some time all I did was trade. I would say that the first 200 hours of my game time were spent doing trade, flying alone, and having no goal other than massing income. Then I got bored beyond the point of even wanting to play and put the game down for awhile.

When I came back to it, I started back into trade, and stopped mid delivery. "What am I doing? I have enough cash to buy whatever I want, do whatever I want." So, I abandoned my cargo, stored my hauler, bought a DBX, and gave it a really stupid kit, purely because I wanted to. I stripped the shields, laid on way to much armor, and threw on "A" rank equipment and some gatling guns, why? cause I love gatlings, go ahead judge me. My DBX was a flying tank, and I treated it as such and had a great time doing it. So, if you get that chance to do what you want, do it. Thats when the game really becomes what it is. Whatever you decide to make it.

Point #1. Alpha
Point #2. Awesome
Point #3. Keen Software House. These guys (and Gals) know how to properly rock the Engineer Moustache. = Double Awesome Power. DAP Status confirmed.

Warning: Lengthy review of shenaniganz incoming.

On a more serious note, about the game. Ahh the game. Structural integrity, so awesome while still inflicting fear and terror upon all engineers endeavoring on massive projects. You must think about your structures and gadgets with gravity in mind. It will destroy what you have worked so hard to build, and when it doesnt, when you have built not only a beautiful machine or structure, You have also built a structural masterpiece. Every support, each minor detail, Every stress point in your Project must be carefully managed and at times avoided. This game will make you or break you. It will wittle you down over the hours of time you spend on a single large scale project, you can make an error in your projects design only to realize it later, after you have built your monument to your ingenuity. Be careful my fellow Engineers, Gravity was once our ally in deep space. Now it is our enemy. Now quit screwin around and buy this game already. If not for Keens DAP status, then for Engineerings sake!

Ok. Actually serious now.
Keen Software House reminds me of a company I knew and loved some time ago. They are honest, they care about their games. They care about what we say and we say alot (obviously /\ ). I would not have bought this game the day it came on alpha if I did not trust in its developers. I have played Space Engineers, I was not dissapointed by the game itself, and found myself surprised and thoroughly impressed by its Development team. I have faith that Keen Software House will not disappoint.

The game.
The game is in alpha as of this moment. There is no multiplayer at this time(May change in the near future). The graphics of the game leave it at a stage of simple beauty. The mechanics of the game are operational, I say operational for there is still some fine tuning to be done however that is expected, Medieval Engineers is still in alpha stage. I personally enjoy building projects that are effected by the world surrounding it. If you enjoy minecraft, but feel a need for some realism, this game is perfect for you. There will be plenty of mods down the road, trust me. I suggest you buy the game now, enjoy it while you can, save it for later if the lack of multiplayer is a huge turn off and just keep up to date with the games progress as time passes. You can thank me later (and the Dev team. Love you guys! xD )

The average rating is marked "Mostly Negative" for a million reasons. My machine comes over the recommended specs. The game is still "laggy" and glichy as all get out. Point is, dont bother buying this until its average review changes.(most likely wont ever happen) Save your money, find something else.

This is quite sad. I have been playing lost planet from the start, and 3 is a sad and possibly desperate attempt in my opinion. If you decide that you like the Lost planet games I highly suggest you stick to the first and second Lost planet. Avoid three.
