10/10 - Imagery (if you like horror)
7/10 - Clicker mechanics (nothing new so far if you've played a lot of clicker games)
Achievements - Not an easy 100% completion. Around 25% of the achievements are easy to get in a few hours--give or take. To get 100% completion will take a lot of time.

Like others are saying, this is basically a horror version of Clicker Heroes and clicker games like that, so if you like those games and horror, I recommend this game. If you don't know if you like clicker games, here is a little background on them:

Clicker games are typically casual games that require more time (and clicks of a mouse or tap of a screen) than thought. You can rarely just sit down for hours at a time to make big progress--like most games. Clicker games typically require an extended amount of idle time where they collect resources when not played for you to spend once you play again (most gather these resources even when the game is closed and many have ingame stores that offer various boosts if you use real money). For people who don't have much time to play games, who like to multi-task, and/or who want achievements (not always fast ones), these can be great. I personally go through phases with clicker games. Sometimes they are fun to run while multi-tasking, even with other games, and other times I won't touch them for a year or so. I may one day finish this one.

I feel the best part about this clicker game is the imagery. If you're like me, then you like getting achievements from, or just playing, casual clicker games, but are sick of the childish graphics. I know I could care less for kiddy images, so I'm loving this clicker because it's adult and horror themed. It even splashes blood on the screen as you click! I love that and look forward to seeing all of the different creatures and bosses.

One word of caution: This game doesn't handle internet connection issues well. It seems to keep track of most (if not all) of my progress when my connection is lost, but it also has to be closed out and won't restart until the connection is back.

Edited for minor updates and additions. :D

9/10 - Game mechanics (very simple but fun)
6/10 - Story (not much of a plot, but could be worse)
Achievements - Easy to get 100% completion (around 10 hours)

This is a fun but very short and simplistic turn-based, casual game. The game mechanics are the best part of the game even as simple as they are. The story merely sets up a reason to fight and maybe an occasional chuckle. I'd suggest buying it on sale for a buck or two because it only took me around 2 hours or less to beat the story mode on easy difficulty. Even the highest difficulty really wasn't that challenging. There's a survival mode that I haven't played much yet, but it might give the game more replay value--would be better if there were more achievements.

It's also an easy game to get 100% achievements for achievement ♥♥♥♥♥♥--took me 10 hours to get all achievements with at least an hour or two being a result of me forgetting the game was on in the background. So while it could have been longer and more difficult, it was still tons of fun.

9/10 - Puzzles
Achievements - Easy to get 100% completion (around 3 hours)

This is a fun, casual, and short strategy game. It is essentially an updated minesweeper. There is no story. It is just strategic puzzles.

Buy it on sale! It only took around 3 hours for me to beat it and get 100% achievements--as a note for achievers: if you don't get a perfect score the first time (0 mistakes), just repeat the level until you do. This way it isn't confusing later going back to try for the "perfectionist" achievement because the game doesn't keep track of what levels have mistakes or not!

It also gets frustrating a few times when you have to make guesses over what few left over hexagons to click (luckily, this doesn't happen often) which makes the game a memory game as well if you want to get a perfect score. You can also just screen shot it for quick reference. :]

This game rocks.
I got addicted to it from the WoW knock-off quest. I say addicted because I even got it for my Xbox so I could do the achievements all over again, and then I got it for free on Origin and did the same. I also beat the little quest line on WoW on all of my different characters because the quest isn't repeatable on WoW.
If you like strategy, tower defense, and zombies, give this a try. It has a main play/adventure mode, and also tons of different game modes that are equally fun and frustrating. I mean really, it’s only around 5 bucks at full price and it's one of the few games I would have been willing to have paid even more for. Also, if you love this game, the Xbox version has a few different features that are kind of cool.
This game isn't too difficult to get 100% on achievements, but it does take a bit of time. It isn't one of those games you can get 100% in 5 to 8 hours, and you also might want to beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of your keyboard for some of them, but I still love it. :D

STORY: 10/10
SCORE: 10/10
ATMOSPHERE: 10/10
GAMEPLAY: 9/10
ACHIEVEMENTS: This is not an easy game to get 100% completion and will take multiple playthroughs (took me around 90 hrs). However, it is easy to get half of the achievements, give or take, with one playthrough. It took me around 6+ playthroughs to get all of the achievements (I did not plan it out well), and some of them are pretty tough when doing the hard mode ones.

UPDATED REVIEW (02/2024):
This game is worth buying if you like dark-themed, turn-based/strategy, and linear RPGs, but keep in mind some possible CONS:

-The game is fairly short for an RPG (taking my time, I beat the game in 13 hours on normal difficulty for my first playthrough).
-It has an abrupt and unresolved ending as it is episodic (The Banner Saga 2 continues the story but doesn’t finish it yet). The story was finally finished in The Banner Saga 3, but this does mean that you will need to buy the other 2 games if you want to complete the series.

-It is not an open world, if that is what you are looking for—it is linear with different automatic save points as you progress through the story (you cannot choose where and when to save, although each save point has its own save to access if you want to try something different or screw up, which sadly sometimes requires having to click through a bunch of dialogue again).
-The game has a lot of reading involved (you rarely hear a person speak). In fact, this plays out similar to an interactive novel, with the exception that it also has a lot of turn-based fights in-between the reading that provide excellent strategic game play.

With that said, many PROS to the game include:

-The story is dark but creative and refreshing with a unique feel and well-developed characters (be prepared to laugh, curse, and possibly cry).
-The dialogue and choices are often entertaining and feel realistic for the setting (the little bit of voice acting in the game is excellent).
-The art, score, and general atmosphere of the game are beautiful.
-The game-play/turn-based fights are addictive, and the fights even get a little challenging on the normal setting (I cursed at my monitor a lot on hard mode, but I also like the challenge).

The game is worth multiple plays not only for achievements, but to also try out different choices as they can have a fairly large impact on the story that can transfer to the other games (The Banner Saga 2 and 3 give you the option to continue your saves from the previous game). Even though I have completed all of the achievements and played the game many times, I still get the occasional urge to play through the story again.

9/10 - Puzzles
5/10 - Story
Achievements - Easy 100% completion (around 8 hours)

This is fun for a short and casual puzzle game. It's an easy game to get 100% achievements--took me around 8 hours for all achievements (around 5 hours to beat). Just buy it for 75% or more off because it's only worth a few bucks--unless money isn't a concern to you.

The Puzzles:

Most of the puzzles are match 3-style puzzles that are easy. I only had to repeat a few levels. The final levels are a little challenging but nothing to break your keyboard over. There are other puzzle elements in the game such as finding hidden objects in pictures. I thought these were annoying as I only wanted the game for the match 3 puzzles, and you have to beat them in order to progress through the game (unlock all elements/levels). Luckily, there aren't that many, and I didn't find them so challenging or annoying as to not beat the game and all achievements.

The Story:

I got the game for the puzzles, so I found the childish fantasy story annoying. It wasn't so bad as to keep me from beating the game, but even with as fun as the match 3 puzzles were, I have not played the game again since beating it and completing all achievements.

The gameplay is fun and the story is amusing with good music, but the game is very short and not too challenging. Wait to get it on sale for a few bucks. Then enjoy at least a few hours using your laser, grapling, and rocket guns to slice and move rocks and pillars in order to manipulate your environment to work your way through puzzling settings in order to get your pants back!
The game also has decent replay value for additional achievements you aren't likely to accomplish during your first playthrough.

The game is space ships, shooting ♥♥♥♥, and evasive skills played to your own music--like Gradius for the NES on steroids at a rave but designed around the beat you choose with the ability to master different ships and gain perks to become more powerful!

Don't forget to hit the hanger to try out other ships for various play styles and have fun trying out different genres of music to play to different beats!

I always had issues with the PS and old PC versions of this game, so I never got to beat it back in the day. It would always ♥♥♥♥ up on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gondola! Seriously, I tried 2 different PS versions and even the PC version after patches that supposedly fixed the issue for a total of 5 playthroughs that all got stuck on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gondola. I had given up on the game until Steam released it. This version works well enough that I'm thrilled to have finally been able to beat it. I only ran into one issue with the steam version, and it was easily fixed as well as not an issue everyone is running into. --Thank you, Steam!

IF YOU LIKE ACHIEVEMENTS:
If you want to get all of the achievements for this game, take a look at my time played. This isn't an easy 100%. I also suggest you look up a guide because I had to start a new game when I realized I missed one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ materia that you had one shot at getting. >:[
