Disappointment of a game with great potential.
There isn't any upgrade available for the ship or characters or equipment. Most of the stuffs that can be bought in game are just skins (cosmetics) purposes. If the game allows the players to use the earned coins (or in game currencies) to upgrade themselves and their ships it would be possibly one of the greatest pirate games on the market

Imagine being one of the biggest gaming company in the world but couldn't make an usable anti-cheat system. The game is literally crawling with cheaters/hackers without getting ban. Every single match you get in are guaranteed with at least 1 cheater/hacker. Literally play a game with 3 cheaters/hackers on my team against 5 cheaters/hackers blatantly shooting through smokes and walls.
