typically in games, 1300 hours of hard work means you have some what skill. In rocket league, to get better typically still results in about 20 "What A Saves!" a day

I have came back to the game 4+ years later to see what changes may or may not of been made.

My new review of Bean Battles is based off of other factors than the core gameplay. Multiround battle royal with the competitive gun selection makes for a fun shooter with a private party with friends. That is it limits though...

The game is made by 1 dev (Its actually 2, but the main dev had this weird thing where he just wouldnt exist and the other actually active dev, shoutout tberry, stopped caring for a respectable reason).

The community behind this game is some of the worst by far as well, due to my high level and titles I was constantly 3/4 v1ed in public lobbies. Now, that issue raises an even bigger issue with the game, a lack of reporting features. Yeah getting 3/4v1ed in a bean game is whatever, and a report feature for teaming would be nice, the dev openly does not care about the status of the game. Rage cheaters plague the game, and teamers in private discords rule the other public lobbies. Truly finding a fun and fair lobby is practically impossible.

Its mainly simple systems this game is missing, and the lack of responces from the devs 4 years ago, and no actual progress made today, I can say that this game with its potenical was shot in its own foot by the dev and the community.

The recent update brings C4 to the game, which is cool but absolutly zero place for it in the competitve gun game settings. I would say it would matter, but just how genuinly annoying it is to be around the other "competitive bean battles" players, the games competitve seen dies after one tournament. Yes, you guys reading this I am talking about all of you. You make comp so unenjoyable that things like the RBBL no longer exist. I remember the day that league stopped was because the community threw a fit over a gamemode that had different settings.

I get it, its a $1 bean game on the steam store that is the devs first real game. Once you dive into the game however, only its core features are its highlights. The gun play is refreshing and is the only reason I found myself trying the game one more time.

I would right days and days about terrible the devs and community bring down this game, as I have several more specific highlightable moments about my time in the RBBL and being in the community in general.

This is coming from someone who has ran and won competitive tournaments for the game 4+ years ago, and wasted several hundrid hours hoping the dev would fix all of the terrible issues so the games core mechanics could be enjoyed as long as possible

TLDR: Save your $1... Game has gone so dramatically downhill that using that dollar for a CSGO 5% tradeup would be more valuable to you.
