Pretty much Civ 5 + Aliens. However, I do prefer this game to CIv 5 because it seems to run smoother and I love the music. Beware Miasma (or alien... gasses...).

The Talos Principle is an amazing game with fantastic visuals and a very interesting storyline to accompany them. The gameplay is composed of puzzles involving redirection of lazers, placing cubes called hexahedrons on buttons, etc... These puzzle mechanics are very similar to those in Valve's Portal games, but The Talos Principle should not be compared to that franchise at all. It is its own concept. The story is driven by computer terminals, which are accessed as the player progresses, and Elohim, a disembodied voice that draws parallels to God. The game gives the choice between obeying or disobeying Elohim's commandments. Depending on what the player does, three different endings can be achieved. In conclusion, if you enjoy a game that makes you think not only about how to solve the puzzles within it, but also about such deep concepts as the reason for existence and what it means to be a person, this is the game for you. It is worth every penny paid for it and has my full recommendation.
