I'm just an oily friend

This is a game about reaching a particular flow state that feels like it could be preparation for occult undertakings. I have not played very long and the game is very much in early access, but what I have played has felt like slowly deciphering an alien language. Gradually, over successive minutes, I began trying to maintain a model of a three dimensional chart of graphemes in my head. I really liked that tension of gradually being able to intuit what moves would work as I played, rather than just going through trial and error or depending entirely on the visual clues to work very slowly towards scoring combinations.

Anyway, it is worth checking out and I hope that it continues to receive updates

Repulsive bum fights simulator

Scariest part of this game is realizing that cops really do look at poor people in this way, as dangerous undesirables that need to be brained with a lead pipe.

Great game, worth it to go through new game plus just to get significantly more complex sentences to translate. Imaginative setting, rich story, good dialogue system. Controls are iffy and the art style is sometimes a bit rough looking but there aren't many games about glossing translations of dead languages. Worth playing.

For a game meant to convey a story through the conventions of jRPGs and Adventure games (sans the combat and other mechanistic parts of those genres) the writing sure is awful. Full of insipid meme-y garbage humor and awkward repetitive memories. At 3 hours long it could stand to be another hour shorter without losing anything.

Trashy in a bad way, mechanically boring.
