If you've ever played a Halo game, you're getting what you know. Though the customization and battle pass could be much better.

Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking Tales of game yet! The characters are great, the art style, combat, and other improvements over other Tales games is very noticeable.

Combat is one of the key differences, full movement without needing to hold a button, no sticky targeting like Tales of old. A roll mechanic that very much rewards your for a successful dodge, and a weapon that drains your life for stronger hits the longer you hold it. CP is slightly different in that its mainly used for healing artes.

The upgrade to the Unreal 4 engine is a very welcome change, and it shines in the open areas of the world, cut scenes, and the new skits.

English VO feels realistic and not at all cheesy.

Honestly If you've enjoyed Tales of games in the past, Tales of Aries is probably the strongest and most polished of the series yet, and you'll enjoy it just as you've enjoyed previous installments.

An absolute must buy for any JRPG fan, I played it so much on the Vita, and will do so again on PC. The characters, story, music, and visuals are great! Now hopefully we can get more games from ATLUS on PC.

Changing my review after the Epic takeover and going F2P

I've played since launch basically, enjoyed the hell out of it, but now that Psyonix sold out to Epic and Epic adding in garbage like forcing you to use a Epic account, among other things, I cannot recommend it, esp since it's being taken of Steam to purchase or "buy" for F2P. A once great game ruined by micortransactions, Epic arrogance, and complete disregard for it's fanbase

Really though, so much time was spent playing this on the old PS2 and Xbox, and it's a much better game than that other one that came out recently.
