I get the re-balancing, but the newest patch took all my abilities down to 1 on level 255. Great game, just watch it with the patches.

Welcome to the Thunder Dome. Hope you like sweat lords because in this game you're either someones loot pig, waiting for the slaughter, or the butcher. With that said, there are very few games that can offer you nothing (almost all the items you buy with gold are useless cosmetics), and still leave you with a heart pounding battle.

Even though this is early access and unfinished, I really like this game. Especially when there was a moment when the monster closed so much distance that they were in my face before I could react. My BH puckered right up as the skeleton killed me.

Pretty much the best game on VR. Sure there are games like boneworks and bonelab, but they don't come close to the polished product of Alyx.

As long as this game has been out, it still has game breaking bugs. NPCs will just disappear, NPCs that you need to finish a quest. New patch 2/3/23, has just made the game unplayable. They must have chimps programming this game.

I never had problems writing a narrative for an adventure. With that said, I've always had problems with making a map with the element of chaos that living spaces have. Everything seemed placed and thought of. This game (?) fixed that for me. I can define a building and it fills it with the proper randomness that I don't seem to be capable of. If you have the same problem as I do, this is a good buy. It can also export to popular online gaming sites like Foundry or Roll20. 50 dollars may be a little steep, I backed the kickstarter, but put it in your wish list for sure.

Yeah nahh. When I started throwing punches at my crotch I just uninstalled the game.

Nice, now I don't have to scroll through google images looking for a non water marked map that sorta, kinda fits what I have in my head for an area.
