One of the best games that I can think of that's free and a "competitor" to another. I much rather play this game than the other Supermarket sim, because of the Dev. He works on this game and listens to the players, adding in decorations, updates and bug fixes as they appear. Buying the DLC isn't just gaining additional fun features in the game to share with friends, but I feel should be a recommended price for this game. My buddy and I have gotten so many memories from not only playing the game, but being able to share our creativity and jokes while playing.

To all those that love to drift in real life, or even just in simulation, this is a game for you. With extensive car mechanic customization and a large mod community, you can spend hours in this game. I only drift in this game, so I do not know or utilize the game at it's maximum. If you want a customizing car game like Forza or NFS, this isn't really a game for you. It comes with loads of pre-customized and fitted cars, but you can only change the skins and mechanics of them. If you want to make your own car/skin, you must do it outside of the game via 3D modeling software/Photoshop. I majorly recommend Content Manager and donating to those guys so you can unlock the full version, plus they deserve it. It makes the game 10x easier to use, navigate and customize.

I have been playing the Farming Simulator franchise since their 2009 release. For 10 years, their development team grows bigger and stronger. From listening to fans and upgrading game physics/graphics, they continue to better themselves each release. Each new game, offers new gameplay and better improvements worth paying the small one time fee. Honestly, the DLC packs are not entirely worth it unless you specifically are wanting material in that pack. Reason why I say that because the modding community is so large, you can get a massive piece of content from an independent creator for free. Which brings me to modding. It cannot be easier to download and install mods for this game. I do wish there was workshop support, but I feel that would become over saturated quick. There are thousands of websites out there with hundreds of mods, and each site only contains 30%-60% of the same mods that another site may have. This is a great game that I would recommend to anyone, who wants to experience the farming life.

This is a very fun game to just kick it and relax while playing. The drives, scenery and exciting challanges you will uncover while delivering your cargo will keep you wanting more!

Update: Love the developer interacting with fans at meets and keeping us well informed! Well done improvements over the years of truck sims! So much to say for this game. The developers have devoted some much time and effort into this game. Building their arsenal of map creation for new state addons, then going back to their base game states and revamping those so they can have the same feeling and level of detail the new states have. 11/10!
