Actually a very fun type of game. Was a bit of a throwback for me to the lone wolf books from Joe Dever (RIP)

Greatly enjoyed playing and the soundtrack is excellent too.

A game so beautiful you could sit in the menu screen for an hour and get your money's worth

A real hidden gem. Overall an excellent metroidvania, with a beautiful soundtrack. On the difficulty scale I'd say its somewhat easier than Blasphemous but a fair bit harder than ori.

Fun little metroidvania, simple but moderately challenging combat. 8 hours playtime. Some lengthy parts were you essentially run around from sidequest to sidequest to advance the story.

This game is a bit tricky to recommend.

The gameplay is unique but also strange. Most of your time is spent running and later teleporting around the map, simply grabbing troops and dumping them where you currently need them, or to refill your mana back at your base to call more summons.

The entire waypoint system is weirdly designed. Once you cleared a lane your troops are stuck in defensive mode and you need to manually reposition them into other lanes. I have no idea why this was done this way, instead of making them simply go to the next closest lane by themselves.

Then again it doesnt matter that much because most missions are quite easy, until you get near the end of the game when the game gets somewhat of an uptick in difficulty due to your new enemies being able to kill your hero easily which will stall your entire push.

In the end you are left with a fairly relaxing game to play from your couch. It's saved by an amazing soundtrack, especially the wild themes are beautiful.

The price is fair but whether you will be able to enjoy the gameplay at all is really hit or miss. I think the game wouldve been alot better without the mana system and simply making everything cooldown based, as this would allow you to stay in the frontlines more instead of running around.

You can tell that the game is a work of passion, made by a small team, which in itself is worth a buy from my perspective. Keep in mind that this game has no keyboard & mouse support whatsoever.

Game is fun right now. Unfortunately buggy and needs alot of work still but I believe in these developers.

I love this game, it is my favourite metroidvania. However, the developers who designed the miriam DLC are some of the most evil people living on this earth.

Compared to many other VR Titles this does the job quite well and I'm enjoying the experience. This is only the 3rd VR game that has some depth to it that i can recommend, the others being alyx and twd: saints&sinners.

Game does have some issues unfortunately. Gestures are often not recognised and the sword charge is very buggy. Overall a fun game though.

Update: Gestures are alot better now. The devs are very quick with patches.

This game kinda came out of nowhere for me and has pleasantly surprised me. The flying becomes really fun about 2 hours in when you get certain upgrades. It reminds me a lot of everspace and theres certainly been some very obvious copying. However as they say it is better to copy well than do it worse yourself. So far it is a little too easy on extreme difficulty but i have only gotten to the 2nd system so maybe it gets harder later.

I like the story so far and the unique idea of hearing the main character's thoughts as a whisper feels very atmospheric.

Update: Finished the game. Solid 18 hours of playtime. Unfortunately it never becomes challenging. The power curve is great. It felt great to unlock new powers and progressively become stronger and stronger. The story is nothing special but i felt it was well told.

The only thing i disliked is the extremely inconsistent dodging mechanic but maybe thats a sideeffect of the extreme difficulty.

Dodging on extreme got fixed allegedly but i havent verified it.
