The decision to walk back the upcoming linkage update is invaluable, both from a profitability standpoint (the game's main profits come from the initial purchase, so cutting that off leaves the option to buy open to those in prior affected countries), and from a standpoint of public opinion. Congratulations Sony, you can do the right thing sometimes, and congratulations Arrowhead, on a possible, but unfortunately only POSSIBLE, renewed success on your game.

An excellent game that can let you experience power in all sorts of different methods, be it oneshotting everything you come across, or nuking the entire map once you kill an enemy. And even still, there's always the looming danger of a couple stray attacks from the enemies about taking you down.

The variety of gameplay across the characters leads to a lot of fun as well, as with the recently added alternate abilities, you can even customize the individual characters to your liking.

A game that I would greatly recommend at least looking into if you're new to battle royales or even an old veteran of the formula. You can even play a trial version of the game for free to see if you want to pay for the full thing and unlock cosmetic customization.

CS:GO Review
Right, so I might not have played for particularly long, but I believe that almost 100 hours is enough to qualify me for a review. This game has probably one of the strangest ranking systems I've seen lately. But at least it has a ranking system. *cough* TF2 *cough*. Regardless, I find that my favorite gun is probably the Nova. Now, I feel I should take a look at each gun individually from what I can remember off the top of my head.

Let's start with the Pistols.
Glock: With the ability to switch between regular and burst-fire, this gun is very tactical, and with a large clip, it's good for those looking for some quick kills in the beginning round of Competitive. (Btw, I've only really ever played Competitive)
Dual Berettas: With a decent cost for a pistol, these Akimbo Berettas might throw you off at first. But once you take a good look at it, these 30-shot clip pistols are worth the 500 dollars it costs to get them. And with high damage to boot, you might not be particularly accurate, but a few shots and you have a corpse in front of you.
P250: Armor piercing, decent reload speed, and a good damage makes this gun definitely worth the money to get it. It's extremely popular to boot.
Tec-9: A good 32 round clip and good reload speed alongside decent damage means you have a good chance of getting kills, and a headshot is almost guaranteed to do so.
Desert Eagle: Does this gun really need any explanation? It's the DEAGLE. You know this gun is worth it.
USP-S: A substitute for the P2000, this gun has a removable silencer, which will lower damage and silence your shots when on. Silencer on, a headshot will likely get you a kill if they don't have a helmet, so there's little reason not to stick with this in the pistol round.
P2000: The default starting pistol for the Counter-Terrorists, this pistol has pretty all-around stats and could definitely be worth holding onto if you know what you're doing.
Five-SeveN: It shoots 5x7mm bullets, thus the name. With a 20 shot clip and good fire rate, plus armor piercing, this gun is a good choice later on.
CZ-75 Auto: Geez this gun sucks since the nerf. With a reduced clip size and I think lowered damage, you have almost no reason to use this gun.

Next up, the Heavy guns.

Nova: Bam, ded. This shotgun is going to be your best friend if you're low on cash, since a single kill with it gets you a 3/4 return on what you paid for it.
XM1014: I probably got the name wrong, but this is the other gun. With a high fire rate and high damage, this shotgun is a life-saver in close quarters. For anything else though, you're probably better off with the Nova, which also costs less.
Sawed-Off: This gun is the Nova on steroids. It takes a little longer between shots and has a little bigger spread, but otherwise, this gun will kill if you're within thirty feet, and don't suck at aiming.
M249: An almost completely spray and pray gun, the M249 is mostly luck though it has good damage and can work well for ambushes against large groups of enemies.
Negev: This gun is the M249 with 50% more bullet, and 80% more spray and pray. And about 20% more damage per mag.
Mag-7: This is probably the worst shotgun in the game, in my opinion, but it's fairly cheap, and has good damage, so if you know what you're doing you can get some pretty easy kills off with it.

Next are the SMGs
Mac-10: This gun is pretty good if you're a bit tight on cash, and can get you some pretty good kills if you know what you're doing. A 30 shot clip is also more than enough to get you a spray kill.
MP9: This is literally the Mac-10 for the Counter-Terrorists. It has slightly higher fire rate and slightly less damage. Only difference.
MP7: I'm not sure what to say on this gun other than the fact that it's decent from what I've seen.
UMP: A pretty high fire-rate SMG with a decent clip size and meh damage. It's alright if you're running low on cash, but I wouldn't bank on it otherwise.
PP-Bizon: 64 bullets per clip and decent damage alongside a good fire rate? Sign me up! The only bad thing about this gun is its spread.
P90: The godfather of SMGs, this gun will almost guaranteed get you a kill. It's got great damage and great fire rate with decently low spread and a high bullet count with 50 rounds per mag

Next up, Rifles!
Galil AR: If you're strapped for cash and want some easy kills as a Terrorist, grab this gun. It's got amazing damage and accuracy, and a decent fire rate to boot. And with 30 rounds per mag you'll be hard-strapped to not get a kill.
AK-47: I think this gun kinda explains itself. Amazing damage for a fully auto weapon and good fire rate too.
SSG A.K.A Scout: Yay, a sniper rifle! This is the kind of gun you want if you're not only strapped for cash but consider yourself good at aiming.
SG: I don't remember the full name of this gun, but it's got good damage and fire rate for great accuracy with its sight.
AWP: One shot, one kill. The classic incarnation of a sniper rifle, a shot with this in the head or chest is guaranteed to kill, and a leg does a lot of damage.
Auto-sniper: Never buy this if you value only a couple snipers in the game. Once you get a kill with this, everyone has either an AWP or another auto-sniper. But as for how the gun actually works, it's amazing. Twenty bullet clip and fully auto, this sniper rifle should certainly get you at least a kill.
FAMAS: Spray and pray, this assault rifle is for those Counter-terrorists who are a little low on cash. It's got decent accuracy, damage, fire-rate, and clip-size. Just let it rip and hope for a headshot.
M4A4: Shoot things and kill things. You will likely get at least a kill with this assault rifle. It's got good damage and decent everything else.
M4A1-S: This gun is your best friend if you know what you're doing. It's got only 20 shots per clip, but you can get a sneaky kill or two in with this and enjoy getting it again next round.

Finally, Gear and Grenades.
Kevlar Vest: You have little reason not to get this in the pistol round as a CT.
Kevlar Vest + Helmet: You want this or you die. I've made the mistake of forgetting it, and got slaughtered by a lucky spray shot from a P90 or AK every time.
Zeus x70: Why did you buy this you ****ing idiot?! It's a one-shot-kill, one-use, longer-range Knife that is not worth the money to buy it.
Defusal Kit: You don't know how to CT or are too pro at this game if you don't have this. Terrorists don't have this for obvious reasons.
Molotov: Cheap and good for Terrorists, you can fire a group of CTs out or block a passageway for some low cash sum.
Decoy Grenade: Cheap and infinitely useful, this gun can make your opponents think you're somewhere else when you're really going the other way. If your opponents know this you can even use it to make your opponents think you're going the other way when you're not.
Flashbang: I CAN'T SEE! This grenade is infinitely useful for blinding some enemies and grabbing a kill or two.
HE Grenade: Boom. Enough said.
Smoke Grenade: Great for sneaky plants or defusals and for masking yourself going through doors, this has many uses that are all good for your team.

Overall, this game is amazing and deserves more credit than it deserves. In my time playing it, I've found many hiding places that are all far too worth your time to stick in, even if I've really only played on Dust II. Maybe at a later point I'll do a review on the maps I've played on, but until then... Au revoir.
