Despite the bugs, there is a really cool game here. It's deeper and a LOT harder than I ever thought it would be, too. You will get absolutely smoked by players better than you, it happens. The learning curve is enjoyable and the gameplay itself is fun once you learn your way around. It's something of a buggy mess but it's being updated and worked on often, and worth playing through most of them

If you dig the old Fight Night games this is as close as you're going to get without an emulator. Game is very responsive and plays a lot like those games with some very nice added touches. The game right now is just online and single fight options. There's no create a fighter yet, there's no career mode yet, but there are a ton of fighters to play while the game is being updated. The big concern was does it play well and, yes, I think it does. Very promising game.

Mechanically this game is a lot deeper than a lot of people are giving this game credit for. It's quite fun and varied in terms of what the suits can do in terms of combos. Yes, the melee attacks consist of two buttons and it seems simplistic on the surface but, like a fighting game, those buttons and combinations of them do wildly different things depending on the suit you're using. Boss fights are fun and will challenge you to play them strategically instead of just mashing into them, some requiring different lineups than your usual sortie. The levels can get a bit grindy but since the missions are over in about 5 minutes nothing has felt bad to go through multiple times thus far. If you're unlocking suits and selling off junk parts leveling suits really hasn't been a pain to me, either. Been having a lot of fun with the game.

Very early stages but still more "complete" than SkaterXL, which hasn't seen an update in god knows how long. Scratches that Skate 4 itch quite well once you get a hold of the controls as well. There's a bit of learning curve there but it's not bad. Very good start and a very promising game. I'll get hours and hours out of this before any more content is actually released for it. Huge first map, tons of spots and an object dropper means a lot of possibilities, get creative!
