Fun game. Short game, expected gameplay is porbably either time attacks or endless survival. Lots of RNG, lots of unlockables, combat is mostly about getting to invincible god mode via items and then rending packs asunder. Kind of hard before you get the controls down, then you mostly only die to flukes. Multiplayer is up to 4 players and pretty fun too. The music is really good. Levels aren't quite as random as I wish they were, and I wish there was more 'meat' to the game in generla re: levels, enemies, and bosses, but I definitely got my money's worth.

Fun little game that plays from start to end in about a half hour. Roguelike random gen encourages you to replay the game for high scores. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of content which is a shame, I see a lot of the same stuff generated all the time. Combat's also pretty lopsided unless you've got a lot of help in my experience. Fun enough to waste time on... probably not worth the ten dolar full price tag.

Whoever thought no health pickups, boring weapons, and a grinding mechanic that forces you to divide resources between upgrading your weapons, and making required progression consumables were good ideas for the Mega Man genre should be shot. Poor controls making 8-way twinstick play difficult without some rearranging top off a poor execution of what is otherwise a decently fun game.

"Looks shiny, but the AI is terrible and there's a severe lack of balance everywhere from combat to the tech tree to the stock races themselves (nevermind custom races). You'll have fun for a few hours, but quickly enough you'll figure out how the game works and realize there's a single best method for winning (not even a handful, a single one) barring random events (which are also unbalanced) and the AI is not a challenge at all, which makes things really bad because multiplayer is half-broken (used to be fully broken)."

This and more. Wish I wouldn't have bought it. Combat boils down to a rock/paper/scissors thta can screw you over on one random wrong choice even if your force is vastly superior. The AI cheats, hard, even on normal, and unless you play extremely optimally you will lose. Diplomacy is not an option, the AI turns on you for no apparent reason even if you're in full peace treaty. New ship classes are nested in an exploration tree, fleet sizes are divided between war and diplomacy. Early expansion is the only way to win, and the dev sknow this and slot in extreme happiness penalties to doing this to penalize it, however, unless you do it, you cannot spam enough ships to win vs the ai.

If you can maange to play against nothing but other humans, you might have a passable amount of fun. Skip this game.

A surprisingly fun little puzzle game in the vein of columns or bejeweled. Each level has its own challenges, so you can't always just focus on getting the biggest chains possible. Each level has free-play after you beat it and the game has 3 difficulty levels too.

It won game of the year and soundtrack of the year for a reason. The game is simply fantastic, the story is enticing while simplistic and the mususic stays with you for a long time.

Got it off the indie royale pack. It's okay. I don't think I'd pay seven dollars for it. It's basically baby's first roguelike. Three characters that are mostly identical, a very meager inventory system and incredibly simplistic combat. The pixel art is grating at times and the camera angle feels awkward. Buy it if you really like roguelikes, otherwise pass on it.
