Every issue I had with this game comes down to the hitboxes of Chris and enemy attacks and spikes

Play the first game but not this one. This game is a 1000% more punishing than the first game, with enemy spam and unfair hit-boxes. The fact that the devs had to add an easy combat mode into the game just shows that the game was a bit hard at release. This isn't Dark Souls, this is a sit on the couch and solve some puzzles type of game or that's what it is suppose to be. The first game was exactly that and I really liked the first game. I do like the graphics and the sound effects but not the MUSIC since it was pretty annoying for me. All in all, the puzzle part of the game isn't here which is why I wanted to play it.

I really liked the game at the beginning and was very excited to play the game. The atmosphere and design are cool but after about a hour though, I was getting kinda bored. I REALLY don't like that certain things can only be interacted with properly when a cabinet or box gets opened or certain things need to happen before you can pick up something from an area you already interacted with. Walking back and forth between rooms and floors just shows this game doesn't have enough content for a flushed out game so the devs had to add roadblocks to extend the playtime. There is a little bit of combat that is pretty ♥♥♥♥. The main character has major motion blur when moving(which hurts to look at) probably because the devs couldn't properly animate the character running. All in all this is a good causal game but not for $20 or for people trying to get easy Steam achievements. If this game is in a bundle, don't be afraid to get it.

Very confusing and weird. The only reason this game doesn't have more dislikes is because a giveaway site is giving away a game for a positive rating on this game(that's why I'm giving it a thumbs up). Don't waste your time on this game!

For $50 price tag, this game needs WAY more CGs, more impactful decisions, and better flushed out characters. I really like the horror element of this series but this game really falls flat with scariness that you're suppose to feel. With not that many music/sound effects; I ended up turning the volume down to 3% because it becomes annoying after a while. There are also really repetitive sections making you go back and forth between sections that you have already gone through with load screen that are 2-3 seconds long. There is also no hint function, that I could tell. The game isn't too hard but there are some areas where I didn't know what to do because something spawned elsewhere. I bought this game in a bundle and I recommend you never buy this game unless it is in a cheapish bundle. Do not buy this for even $10; you will just feel unsatisfied at the end of the day.

I highly recommend it. I love this game! There is plenty of content, if you buy the expansions, for both casual and hardcore players. Most people over on the LFG Discord are friendly and willing to help other players. It now has cross-play with console players!
Edit: It's almost 2023 and I'm starting to lose interest in D2. I'm not getting the excitement that I use to when I am coming home from work :/
Edit 2: It's almost 2024 and I can't recommend this game to a Free to Play person or someone willing to buy the expansions. The game is slowly dying, the studio is bleeding money, and there's no plans for a Destiny 3. Don't get invested like I did
Edit 3: It's almost 2025 and I still can't recommend this for people who aren't ready to get invested into game. The Final Shape was REALLY awesome and Pantheon was goated but now I'm playing with little to do. New episodes(seasons) are good at first, but after a few weeks I'm ready for something new and captivating
