"Evil" weapons (Scimitar, Exec. Sword, Waraxe, Polehammer, Messer and S. Spear) look great, while the "Holy" ones are kinda underwhelming compared to what you can already unlock in-game.

Somehow I haven't left a review for Skullgirls despite enjoying with a few friends on mine it since it dropped on PC, even donated 10 dollars for the crowdfunding! I greatly enjoyed checking out the new content in the beta which of I've spent nearly 50 hours in goofing around as past DLC characters were released. I really like Skullgirls for the fact that each character has simple inputs for their moves, and devs even had made inputting those inputs easier with time.
But here we are.
Infighting within the company? Hardly concerns me, not like I've got anything to say in the matter. Mike Z was a talented person but I also understand how hard he was to work with, but his vision clearly carried the project forwards.
Minor adjustments because the 'new' team had found some art assets questionable? Sure, sounds like a slippery slope at first but it was like 5 frames that you can hardly pay attention to.
But now -- just downright removing content, not adjusting, not replacing, removing. What's really messed up is that the fact it's partly content that has been crowdfunded in the past (back when the soulless mobile company wasn't involved yet!) or has been in the art book that's showing off concept art and such.

I like this game and I hope that the current developers will stop huffing their own farts or appeasing to an echo chamber somewhere that they keep placing their ear to.

In short: I do not agree with recent changes, especially downright removal of content.

P.S. Thank you to the Devs for showing me that afro combs are in fact racist. I kneel.

Great looking cosmetic set, but lacks variety of camo choices every other set at the same price gets.
I get that some sets get more colour choices than others, but this one has a pathetic selection of a single camo.
Even doing monotone colours would be better than leaving it all defaulted to green.
P.S. The cosmetic set does NOT include the face wrap shown in the promo image. You have to unlock it through cosmetic-only currency you earn through gameplay.

I'm kinda upset that the music isn't trying to actively kill me anymore.

The art-book and soundtrack are great, really worth getting.
But the actual content...
Annie so far is VERY disappointing in terms of gameplay - I can forgive unbalanced damage and bad hitboxes, they can refine those, but they'll never change her moveset to something more interesting.
As of other characters that aren't announced yet - Why even mention that they're already selected if you're not gonna reveal who people are shelling the cash out for? To jew out people with the sheer expectation? Content is gonna be spread across TWO years with a vague possibility of a 5th character, but only if enough people shell out on this dlc pack.

I have a feeling this whole season pass will be a train wreck. They still have time to show that they're gonna bring in something interesting, but for now save your cash.

I may or may not change this review once more content starts being released.

Annie is a generic "shoto" type character. She seemingly appears to have no gimmicks or special mechanics tied to her.
I may change this review once the tutorials showing her ins-'n-outs come out.

They removed cosmetic class recognition and their somewhat unique weapon selection.
Now you've got 4 riflemen and "Advisor" - a.k.a. rifleman with unique primaries no other class has. Advisor class needs to be removed and their weapons spread out to other classes to make them a bit more unique.
Also no client-side mods.

Look, I'm not sayink all hostages is of same as terrorist, but if you are in same place as terrorist I think you up to no good.

On a serious note; the game started turning, to simply say it, ♥♥♥♥ after the few major updates. Devs are clearly running out of ideas. Besides, I am not a fan of MANY of their decisions recently.
