This is genuinely an enjoyable and original game

I suggest going to the "Community Hub" in the top right of this games Steam Store page, located below the search bar and above the games description, once open then select "Guides" for instruction on how to fix specific issues. Guides on fixing game

Compared to modern titles that otherwise tell you specifically where your target is located, shows everyone on radar, and all the available ways to assassinate your target, Codename 47 is more linear but you feel like a real assassin having to scout around and think about your surroundings which is more immersive and is something that is not replicated in the modern titles unless you edit their HUD settings. The best part about the first three Hitman games is that the better mission in Codename 47 are actually remastered in Hitman 2 and Contracts , how the story connects the games with each other and experiencing the mechanics becoming progressively better is very entertaining.
