Great game.

As my first venture into the dark souls franchise i'd say this is a stellar game, and even though it has some things i can't reallt agree with such as pvp arenas being in the DLC and not the base game poor connections most of the time and a decent anti cheat wouldn't hurt either.

After spending over 4190 hours on the game i feel like giving it a review might be a bit overdue, While i was not here on release i joined the fray on may 8 back in 2010 So I've seen many things over the years, and in light of recent controversy regarding the Meet your match update i think it's needed to look at things again. While at launch the update was a broken mess with queue-times in the tens of minutes being kicked back and having to re- queue after every single bloody match and not being able to select on which map you wanted to play many of the issues have since been addressed; you are now automatically placed in the queue after every match unless you choose to leave, players are placed into matches where someone left and queue times have been drastically improved with the longest I've experienced at 2 minutes, while these should have been features when the update first launched you can't really complain about the system now. So overall the game is what it is sadly it's not the same game it was 5 years ago i do feel it's still a good game. so overall 10/10
