Early Access Review
A breath of fresh air in the stream of survivor-likes. Having a goal-oriented gameplay rather than a simple timer makes runs feel much more interesting.

A very cute and relaxing game. There are no points where it feels unfair or overwhelming - you get ample time to provide customers with what they want and many tools to make the process smooth and rewarding. The main difficulty actually comes from allocating limited actions between the cooking/food serving portions of the game in order to maximise the amount of useful ingredients you get, but even that is something that feels very zen once you fall into the rhythm.

I'd say there's no reason to not give this game a try.

The game that defined the genre. Now in pog form on Steam. What else is there to say? Still great.

A unique game that has some unfortunate flaws. The core of the game is exploration: you dive into the area and try to hoover up all the potential valuables for your store. In the process you can learn more about the area itself and the overall world the game takes place in. This is the part that the game does well.

What it doesn't do as well is the rest of the game: selling the aforementioned valuables. While immersive at first, the process quickly turns into a slog, as you wait for customers to ever-so-slowly appear and buy your stuff. Bartering minigame starts feeling like it's not worth the effort pretty quickly, aside from on your most expensive stock.

The bid wars are the same: fun the first couple of times, pointless as soon as you notice you can't actually influence them aside from falling asleep while waiting for the countdown and failing.

That said, the meat of the game is still something I have enjoyed immensely - figuring out the puzzles and looking for secret stashes was fun and satisfying (albeit frustrating at times). So it's a tentative recommend from me.

The game is short but enjoyable. Took me 7 hours to get all achievements and see everything it has to offer aside from doing a score attack, though I wouldn't mind if it had more. The game looks and sounds just right for what it seems to want to accomplish, soundtrack is especially wonderful and I can't recommend enough grabbing it from Bandcamp.

Overall it's been a very pleasant experience.

It has monkeys, it has bloons, what else do you need?

On a more serious note, the game is not without issues, but it is fun enough to keep you going. It's also actively supported by devs, so it keeps improving.

A mostly simple, but still satisfying collect-a-thon. Has a few weird bugs (when it comes to achievements at least) and the age of the original games is sometimes clearly visible through some design decisions that nowadays people would consider dubious. All that said, it's still a great game to spend a few evenings in trying to gather everything.

While this is similar to the original LOGistICAL games, there are definitely more than enough differences to warrant the 2 in the title. Here are a few things to note before you consider whether to buy the game or not:

1. If you care about graphics, this is probably not a game for you. What you see on screenshots is what you'll get: fairly simple and functional.
2. Some find UI confusing, but it's a fairly complex game. Sure, it might look overwhelming, but give it a bit of time, and you'll be using pretty much all of it without a second thought.
3. It's a game for completionists. It's also fairly slow. The main satisfaction of these games, to me at least, comes from solving a large meta-puzzle over the course of hours and then seeing all the map fill up with yellow (which in this game denotes the completion).
4. The series having a second installment (this game) does not in any way make the first one obsolete. As a matter of fact, I'd say some of the easier modules of LOGistICAL 1 are probably a better entry point for a newcomer (as a matter of fact, there's a free one with some tutorials to try out).
5. The game has a friendly and helpful Discord community, so if you are feeling confused by it just pop in there.

This is a copy of my review for the original game. Most of my time is going into that one. For now.

There are few things new buyers should be aware of:

  1. This game is not in any shape or form similar to Transport Tycoon. You won't be optimizing routes, building long-lasting production chains, planning complex routes for dozens upon dozens vehicles, etc, etc. Instead you will be managing up to 15 not-so-smart trucks making sure they can fulfill demands of each and every town you find. Which can get a bit hectic.
  2. This game is for patient people. You probably won't experience the real difficulty it can throw at you for a while (and by that I mean many hours of preparation and unlocking every tool the game can offer you)
  3. Many reviews mention "having to overcome UI", well, it got much better. And it keeps improving. In all honesty, being late to the party, I haven't had much trouble with figuring it out.
  4. This is not an achievement spam game. Each and any of the achievements require work. Sure, some are extremely easy, but some others are very hard.

As for the game itself, it's the most addicting purchase I made in years. After playing for few hours I just bought everything that was available at the moment, because I knew I'll play it eventually. It might not be for everyone, probably far from it, but it's a great game if you can see its charm.
