Early Access Review
Been playing since the early beta days. Dev is super responsive and is actively adding content and QoL improvements! There are tons of puzzles available for free, plus DLC if you ran out of free puzzles to solve. I enjoy the leaderboards because it gives me a reason to keep improving my strategy to get a better solve. I also highly recommend checking out Piczle Cross Adventure from Score Studios because the way the story/exploration gameplay is tied in with the Picross puzzles is so satisfying.

Short and sweet, the mazes are small but mighty. It was completely worth my time and you have no excuse to not try it because it's free! Looking forward to trying Strange Jigsaws!

I'm a big Picross/Nonogram enjoyer and I fell in love with Score Studios through Piczle Cross Adventure. I loved that it had exploration and RPG elements, and when I heard he was working on another Piczle Cross, I was expecting more of the same gameplay. Piczle Cross Story of Seasons is much more puzzle-oriented. So far in my playthrough I haven't encountered any adventure or story elements. It's pretty much exclusively puzzles, with images themed around Story of Seasons. There seems to be a good variety of puzzle dimensions, including collage puzzles comprised of smaller puzzles stitched together. The features are very good, including accessibility options like accommodating for colourblindness and convenience options like automatically filling out a row with X's when the necessary cells are coloured in. I've never played Story of Seasons so the Almanac doesn't have as much of an impact on me, but the theme is very cute and the music is nice. You can see your farm grow as you progress through your puzzles, but I wish you could interact with the farm more. I like that there are in-game achievements. The stats page is cool too, you can see how many cells you've filled in, and each completed puzzle shows your time as well as whether you used any hints or other help features. It currently isn't Deck Verified but it does perform well, which is to be expected since it was also released on Switch. Only issue is the text of the Puzzle Categories page and pop-ups are small but they're not really important to the gameplay.

Overall I am happy with this game because the puzzles and features are great and it runs well on Steam Deck, but the previous Piczle Cross Adventure game set my expectations so high that I was disappointed in the lack of story and adventure elements, and I think it would've been so cool to be able to interact with the farm ourselves. If you enjoyed this game, I strongly encourage you check out Piczle Cross Adventure!

All of the games in this series are quick and light-hearted fun but this is the best one I've tried so far. Production value feels much higher with a full-colour environment, and cats disappear instead of remain highlighted once found. Works great on Steam Deck too.

Don't listen to the "Unsupported" Steam Deck rating because this game runs perfectly. Only annoying part is when you rename the farm workers and the keyboard covers the textbox, but everything else feels right. This is the best Vampire Survivors-like I've played and it didn't cost me anything except for my free time. It has the same satisfying power trip feel as VS but with its own mechanics and much cuter aesthetic.

Addictive loop of dungeon crawling and base building. I tend to not enjoy colony sim but it turns out the residents just didn't worship me enough in the other games I've tried. This game has everything you need for a great time: fishing, drinks, sex, and ritual sacrifice!

Early Access Review
Very addictive, I was pretty bad at it to start but once I learned about how to prioritize evolutions I improved quickly and the feeling of immense power never goes away! Shockingly inexpensive for how much value you get, definitely got my money's worth and beyond.

Edit: I wrote this review 38.8 hours in, I'm now 214.3 hours in and I'm still having fun with the game. Devs are continuing to support this game so much that I keep having reasons to come back to try the new content!

Great little game, doesn't take too long to beat but it was a joy to explore the world, solve puzzles, and rip up important documents!

Such a cute game, it's fun to explore and find all of the stickers and cupcakes and there is so much charm and humour throughout!

This has been great for playing board games remotely, especially during lockdown when we couldn't meet with family and friends in person. The only downsides are that everyone you're playing with needs to buy Tabletop Simulator, and that game versions from the workshop can be hit or miss.
