peak fiction

Honestly with all the crap I have heard about this game I was hesitant to try it at launch. When it launched on steam though I decided to finally give the game a try and I have no regrets. The game is really fun and Bethesda has clearly put a lot of time into the game trying to fix all of the issues it had at launch. There is still the occasional glitch here and there (mainly the T posing scorched every once in awhile or some good old Bethesda physics). I will say though that the game is best played with other people as it can get boring without friends to fill the void that imo companions filled in the prior fallout games.

I remember trying to get this on my old computer and I couldn't get it to work. I later tried it on Switch when it came out but playing the game on a controller just didn't feel right to me. Trying it now on my new computer and it is honestly one of the best games I've played in a long time. The controls on keyboard and mouse just feel so smooth and aside from annoying drop rates at times I think this is an amazing game.

What do I say about this game, I've clocked close to 200 hours, getting gold ranking, and I'm still hooked, this game just gets better and better.
I'll break it down into my 3 favorite things about this game.

Weapons
There is a great variety of wepon combinations to choose from, with new weaons and combintaions being added with every new legend available.

you want guns? Its here

You want a Scythe? Its here and amazing

You wanna just punch people? You can do that too

You want a Lance that is rocket powered? I was confused at first but thats also here!

Characters:

Whenever the Dev's add in a new character you can tell the amount of care that went into making them, from there unique sigs, to there design and skins, to even just there sound effects. Here is a few of my personal favorites.

Yumiko: A blind Fox spirit that can fire herself as the arrow of the bow, her hammer is also a great weapon to use to finish someone off easily.

Ember: She's fast, she's hits hard, but she has practically no defense. Her combo's, especially with her bow, are amazing! Her Katars can also be used to easily keep the enemy on there feet when your at a higher damage than them.

Bodvar: He is the OG. Also he has a Hulk Hogan skin and that just makes him that much better.

Balancing

This game, though at times seems like a character or a certain weapon is too op, gets plenty of balancing updates to it, the Dev's listen and interact with the community frequently, they listen to our complaints and try to fix the issues. If you want to try this game I highly recommend it, if you have friends who want to play as well and dont have a PC, there is also a PS4 version of the game available.
