Honestly I hate that I love this game so much. I had no intention of this being one of my go to games when I was having a bad day. I figured I would give it a half hour try and refund. But 21 hours later and I'm still playing. I have restarted so many times just because I love the beginning so much. I'm telling you now if they have or ever have pets or mounts, I don't think I will even take food, Sleep or bathroom breaks. This game will literally cause my death.

This game is fun. It can be spooky at times and I would absolutely recommend it.. Just wait for it to be on sale. It is a lot shorter than expected. It can be finished in a day. If there will be new updates added to it that add more gameplay or a sandbox mode where we just get to slice and dice at our hearts content then it is worth it. (And when I say update I don't mean surprise paid content. aint nobody got time for that.)

This game is light-years above any other SCP game I have tried. As soon as I started I couldn't stop. The graphics, the story-line and attention to detail are out of this world.

The only thing I can find fault with is the gameplay time. It takes about 5 hours to beat. I feel like there should be a lot more content for the price.

Still a solid 9/10.

The story is actually pretty fun. It's not just all about the smutty love making that i'm sure a lot of people were expecting. The characters are fun to get to know and the dungeons are unique and interesting.

I completed Chapter 3 Over a year ago and was eagerly awaiting chapter 4. It's been 14 months and still no new chapter.

They post updates often but until there is any story progress I can no longer recommend this game.

I usually tend to review games at about 100 hours in. I felt like that wouldn't be appropriate for Rimworld however. I figured I would play a little longer. So after another 1,192 hours I feel I can properly review.

This is an easy to play but difficult to master game that has endless things for you to do.
For the most part you don't have full control over your colonists but you can set jobs and tasks for them to do.
They can tame animals/monsters, grow/harvest crops, cook, craft, clean and many other things.

You also have to watch out for threats. Whether it is a wild animal coming for one of your chickens or a raid from another settlement. You can kill, imprison, recruit or release the raiders or even harvest their organs if you find yourself needing a new heart.

The most impressive thing this game has are the amazing modders. People work tirelessly to make the most amazing mods for regular players like myself. They deserve so much more credit then they get. They take the game to whole new levels.

With Mods: 100/10

Now I will go spend another 1000 hours of my life in the world of Rim.

Okay so what I read quickly before buying this was "Capture tons of gal monsters." Now as a pokemon fan I though, hey cool, a monster catching game. Imaging my absolute surprise when Mr. Cant Keep it in his Pants turned up on screen. I was shocked! Disgusted! Possibly intrigued.

So I decided to Join Mr. Let's Get Lucky on his adventure. The things I saw were unspeakable and I found myself having to turn my laptop away from the door least someone walked into my room. Can you imagine what they might think?

When I caught my first gal monster my laptop almost fell on the floor. I had to rub my eyes multiple times to make sure what I was seeing was actually there. Mr. Hey, Let me Wife You sure got an eyeful. That's for sure. And so did I.

All in all it was a fun game. Possibly not for the faint of heart.

10/10 would LOVE to play again... and again... and again

I honestly didn't think I would like this game. I was coming down from an overdose of State of Decay 1&2 and wanted to find a good zombie game where if you die... you die. This game proved to be difficult at first but once you get the hang of it, extremely fun. You don't just get to start with another character if you die. It's literally.. game over, start again.. Go all the way back to go and do not collect 200$. Love the challenge. Wonderful way to pass time.

Chopping down my first tree and I get a gross mutated baby thing thrown at me. What am I supposed to do with it? Raise it as my own? Throw it back?

10/10 would play again.

So far this game has been very impressive. Exactly what I've hoped for in a farming simulation game. The graphics are great,, the game play is smooth. There is plenty to do to keep you interested. The only thing I have found even slightly bothersome about the game is the robotic voices. Hopefully within future updates there will be real voice actors.
4.5/5* from me.

A few months ago I would have reccomended this game as we were told that it was being worked on. Now it just feels abandoned. Nothing really works. It could have been a great game though.
