Raft is by far my favorite survival game, i keep trying to convince friends to buy the game so i can play it again. The artstyle is amazing, the soundtrack is amazing, the locations are really unique and very fun to explore. There's really not alot of bad things i can say about it. The story is a little lacking but i dont think anyone plays raft for the story, another slight frustration is how fast your hunger and thirst meter go down. Other than that however, its just an absolute masterpiece. All of the updates are great and its a game i keep coming back to because of it. I can not recommend it enough.

Ghost on the Shore had me hooked in the first 5 minutes with a great intro and a bunch of questions. You start on your boat when you suddenly hear a voice of a man. During the game you learn more about him and the islands you're on. The interactions between the main character and the voice are amazing and evolve constantly. The visuals are really nice with its own unique style. On top of a great intro, a nice style and great dialogue, the story is amazing. its a story about death and trust. Theres also a great way of story telling. You'll mostly be reading or talking to the voice but theres also casettes and visions. You keep everything you find written or drawn in a notebook you have and slowly you'll learn about what happened on the island and about what happened to the voice. There's alot more to say but overall i highly recommend playing it, it even has a really good soundtrack. If i had to give a negative i would probably say that the movement system didn't feel very satisfying and maybe the lenght of the game but thats just me wanting more. Oh, and one more thing, the ending is phenomenal. Play it!

When i saw the steam page of this game i was blown away, the artstyle the gameplay it all looked so good.
So i bought it on the day of the release here on steam. While playing it i actually really enjoyed it. I was exploring the map and gathering all the plants waiting to use them. I was getting a little bit frustrated when i realised i was basically just walking the entire time with nothing really happening but other then that i loved it. And at the end when i unlocked the brewery room i realised that i had done everything and all the loot that i had collected was basically useless because there was nothing left for me to do. There was no use for the 5 hours of collected loot. My chests are still filled to the brim and i cant use any of it. i was grinding for a backpack that i only got to use for maybe 30 minutes. The 4 hours before i got the backpack were spent in frustration trying to manage my inventory. So yes its beautiful, but the game design is just not very good. Im really dissapointed because it has so much potential. And after doing everything, it just feels like i wasted my time. So i cant recommend this game.
