I received this as a gift, but I wish I never did

it is very relaxing, but don't be an architect while playing it

This is a very good example of anime tropes condensed in one small package.
You might ask yourself, why would I even want to buy a DSim if it's just tropes on tropes mixed in with clichés?
You don't lol.
But if it's on discount buy it for the cringe you will experience, play it in a stream with your friends and experience the face of japan that they want to show you.
Because yes, they only show you the "good parts".
But still, this is a idealized trip to an even more idolized japan, not living in japan with impending doom hovering over your head.

No, Do NOT PLAY this game if you value your time and mental sanity.
I don't, so I plan on wasting another thousand hours

This is a pretty puzzle game, it's incredibly well made, art-wise and music-wise.
The atmosphere is set extraordinarily, music and scenery blend together beautifully and it's technically very advanced with all the different layers of watercolour art being used.
Almost nothing is explained, and often I had to close the game and take a walk in order to solve the mechanics. since they are not immediately obvious, which is a good thing.
I give this game a 4/5, just because the movement mechanics don't feel really good to me.

Questo gioco, per quanto io non sappia né leggere né scrivere di visual novels, mi è piaciuto.
Ne sono venuto a conoscenza grazie ai meme, ed ho deciso di provarlo; è stata un'esperienza fantastica, mi ha lasciato attonito ogni volta che monika parlava .
Dan Salvato è stato egregio nel tessere i personaggi e Monika, e anche se ho giocato per poco, posso dire di essermene affezionato.
Le musiche che cambiano e gli effetti speciali nei momenti topici poi sono fantastici(Eccetto gli occhi di Natsuki che mi han lasciato male)
E non Dimentichiamo la BestGirl, YURI!
