Brilliant little game :)

Simply put: chess. But instead of normal rules, you duke it out FPS style. Finally i can actually win a chess game!
Only played for an hour so far but thoroughly enjoying it. Each piece feels unique and interesting when it comes to combat.

There are some aspects that don't feel completely balanced, but they're not game ruining! They force you to strategize.
  • Rook with it's sniper sitting on the bookshelf, shooting down on you, then zip lining away when you approach?
Hide. and force them to come to you!
  • King pulling you in, ready to slap you with his sword?
Throw a grenade and blast him away!
  • Losing a fire fight as a pawn due to slow fire rate?
Summon another pawn, and attack whilst they're distracted!

Some bugs do occur, such as scoping with a sniper drastically reducing FPS. And gliding as a bishop sometimes gets you stuck in the ground. But as i'm writing this, the game is only 4 days old. I imagine allot of these issues should get ironed out relatively quickly.

To summarize:
Fun party game, well thought out and a blast to play. Only thing it lacks is more players!

Early Access Review
A game with a single, simple task "Get home to your planet", turns out to be the most beautiful construction of of tech trees and one of the cleanest crafting systems ever to appear in a game.
This game sucks you in with its quick, but well paced progression, turning a half hour play session to an all night gaming extravaganza.
This game has left me with the nostalgic thrill of finding a game which brings something completely new to the table. I highly reccomend this game.

ps. try not to get the tetris effect too hard
