TLDR. Great game.


for those wanting a little more meat here we go.

so the game as a whole has been fantastic. From Visuals to the game loop I have had a decent amount of fun so far. I have only run into a few glitches we will call them and Ill list them as I wrote them down while playing.

1. A wounded stalker was laying on a hill side with his head down below the ground and his feet straight up in the air which was funny af but after healing said person they got up no issue, not game breaking.

2. while holding the bolt and scanner the literal bolt somehow synced itself to the scanner hand instead of the one it was in so the bolt swayed in sync with the scanner making it phase through my hands. Still functioned and allowed me to throw so not game breaking.

3.Dark spaces, I found while using HDR going under staircases in the Sphere base it will black out your screen entirely but if you move back into the light it fixes itself and thus not game breaking.

4.Some tutorial aspects did not pop up while I was playing the prologue like how to use flashlight which instict tells us we should be pressing L but if you also use your radial menu bottom left gives you some basic controls for your equipment. A friend played at the same time as me and his tutorial worked without issue so not a all encompassing bug.

Other than that I've been smooth sailing with no stuttering and FPS well above 60. Playing at high with DLSS at balanced.

While playing my friend who has a much more powerful rig he encountered a FPS issue at some times where the FPS would drop and lock at 15PFS unless he reloaded which would shoot the FPS back up, I had never dealt with the issue personally.


So far the game is great, story is strange but I've hardly scratched the surface with 7 hours in.


So there was a increase in bugs as the game progresses but I finished the game at 49 freaking hours. Holy smokes one play through and very little deviation from the main story. The game is vast af and very well done. There are bugs, game breaking? maybe game delaying with about 5 hard crashes in 50 odd hours but this game challenged me to think more and to find alternate ways to get things done.

Overall its a good game, hell maybe even a great game.

its punishing and you need to play smart which is a huge plus for me, I love that aspect of games but i cant be stealthing around to have a whole squad of melee terminators spawn on top of me to run to get away with them following me to get smacked by a exo suit that makes no sound around a corner. I am 100% for being punished for sloppy play as a player but i lost a little bit of my allowance for bad game mechanics each time i die to phasing hordes.

Overall this game will be great, they are committed to fixing the issue so eventually I forsee changing this to a positive review but nothing takes more steam out of my sails then you are 100 metres from a exit and hubert spawns in with his merry band of chuckle ♥♥♥♥♥ literally on top of you which stun lock your old decrepit ass till you become one with the earth.

On a positive note, time extracts are kinda jank but cool situation that happened was i stealthed to the activation clicked it and hid, watched the guads take on the enemy soldiers that spawned in as a result and slipped away once the timer was over. I have yet to have a game come anywhere close to that before.

its not reading my already paid for Dlc's. funny thing is one of the dlc that isnt registering is warriors of chaos from game 1 lol


Update: They fixed the issue, wish it didnt have to resort to review bombs to get stuff fixed.

honestly I am not into games like this. I like my shooters and RTS games but as a blood thirsty heathen I must say this game is rather relaxing. I played this with two friends only one of us knew somewhat how to play so it was fun learning and picking as a team what we wanted to plant when where and how to keep busy when we waited this plus a few beers had us laughing and carrying on for hours.

Although I am having a tough time playing as a single player I still waste hours away that coupled with the extensive modding community there isnt much you cant get done but you really do feel for farmers when you cant buy the big toys and you are stuck with a scrap heap plow haha.

great game but CA decided to end the line of this game to restart it for a money grab.

I am sorry but do not buy unless steam makes it dirt cheap do not buy it at all.

I previously made this a thumbs down but since then the updates have flown and the DLC fair in my eyes, overall pretty decent game
