Absolutely incredible. Time Stranger takes everything from the already great Cyber Sleuth games and ramps it up to bring a stellar experience. The story, the music, the voice acting, the visuals, all in top form to keep you engaged throughout. Typical turn-based RPG gameplay is improved by adding a few tweaks like encouraging item use and the X-Arts. Interacting with your Digimon through conversation and following each digivolution path feels organic. All in all totally in love with this game. THE new gold standard for what creature collector games should be.

Plays well enough. Hearkens back to the turn of the millennium era of 3D platform games and really feels like it in the movement and platforming. Combat is clunky but still manageable. Dialogue is a little eh but at least thematically appropriate. The art and music are also done really well and set the tone of the game great. If you want a game for Halloween that isn't a horror game, this is your best bet.

Spark the Electric Jester has a target of what it wants to be and absolutely nails it. High speed action with lightning fast combat and a multitude of abilities for both fighting and platforming make a game that flows fantastically once you get the hang of it. An additional unlockable character who plays very differently is icing on the cake. There are a few hiccups here and there (the big one being the pause screen rapidly flashing for some reason) but otherwise this is a fantastic start to Spark's legacy.

Really, really good. The controls are really tight and the difficulty ramps up perfectly in a way that the game never feels too easy or too hard. The excellent cutscenes bring alot of humor while also not going on for too long. Between the two the game has a great flow that (with the exception of the last few stages) keeps you thoroughly entertained.

It's very...okay. Everything is done well enough but for whatever reason I just don't feel very strongly about anything. Combat works, it looks good, the world has depth, the characters are developed, but I just couldn't invest into any of it. The constant browbeating about how bad capitalism is doesn't help it either. I can't say I recommend it, but I would recommend against it even less.

A fantastic follow-up to an already stellar game. Psychonauts 2 takes everything that made the original game a cult classic and amplifies it. The minds you visit are wilder, the new characters have more depth, exploration goes farther, combat is more complex (though this isn't always better). Psychonauts was considered one of THE cult classics, and while alot of sequels to cult classics don't work out, Psychonauts 2 absolutely delivers.

A short but very sweet game featuring the story of Half Life supporting character Barney Calhoun. Kept fresh in comparison to the original by making it more action oriented, while also keeping true to it by having engaging puzzle solving. Definitely worth it if you want more Half Life.

I'm not exactly the intended demographic for this game but I really enjoyed it. Matching 3 by moving columns made for an interesting change to what I'm used to. The basics are pretty easy to pick up and everything's very cute while only sometimes becoming cloying. All in all a fun little puzzle game.

Not for me. The game is nice to look at, but just kind of frustrating to play. The movement and exploration is fun, but can only be really enjoyed by using Hi-Hat and Reverb, and any mistake with either of them will completely ruin your flow. Combat is a pain, you'll have to fight tons of enemies while barely doing anything to them, and upgrades only help out a little bit. Overall a cool concept that doesn't feel the greatest.

Incredibly short but incredibly fun. Shooting through the sky on rails you make feel great. My only gripe is that the rails don't go exactly where you want them to due to the way they're set. If this is a proof of concept for something coming then color me excited for a full release.
