282 hrs played. Addictive and this game isn't even in its full form yet. I watch their dev video sometimes and I think we are in good hands.

So far 152 hours into the game. Still want to play more.

Here are a few comparisons to elements in other rogue-lite games that I like:

vs Into the Breach: You have complete control over combat. The outcome of the combat is previewed. The UI is intuitive.

vs FTL: Games are FAST yet do not lack depth. Maybe I am a slow learner; I still feel like there is a lot of learn. My high score is still around 60% of my friend's best high score.

vs Slay the Spire: No confusing paths where I sometimes I have squint my eyes really hard at the screen to make sure what I am going into. You always get 1 of 2 sets of "encounters". Some might dislike it being so systematic. But I enjoy the simplicity and still the decision often less trivial. (i.e. do i need rest/elites?)

Also you get "elite" encounter "on-demand". Before a round, you get to choose whether you want to upgrade the combat and gain additional rewards; or not.
