Patch Quest ist ein Rougelite Adventure Spiel in dem es viel zu erkunden und Monster zu fangen gilt. Das Grundprinzip ist einfach: Schieß auf die Monster und werde dabei möglichst nicht getroffen. Was das Spiel aber interessant macht, ist dass man die Monster auch fangen und auf ihnen reiten kann. Jedes Monster hat dabei unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten was für viel Abwechslung sorgt. Der grundlegende Aufbau der Karte bleibt dabei gleich, aber was du dabei in den einzelnen Räumen vorfindest ändert sich mit jedem Durchlauf.

Das Gameplay macht auch nach mehreren Runde noch Spaß und da es viel an Monstern, Pflanzen und Schätzen zu sammeln gibt, ist auch für genügend Anreiz gesorgt sich wieder ins Gefecht zu stürzen. Die Schwierigkeit ist dabei ziemlich gut abgestimmt. Zu Beginn eines Durchlaufs ist das Spiel recht einfach und wird schwieriger je länger man durchhält. Je besser man in dem Spiel wird desto mehr kann man auch in einem Run schaffen.

Die Grafik ist eher simpel gehalten aber gibt dem Spiel viel Charme. Gerade die Monster sind sehr gut gestaltet und alle auf ihre Art irgendwie knuffig. Zudem hat der Soundtrack ein paar ziemlich gute Tracks.

Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass Patch Quest sehr unterhaltsames Roguelite ist, das ich nur jedem empfehlen kann.

Sentinels of Earth-Prime is a turn-based card battler, in which you play a team of superheroes fighting together against a supervillain. Each hero has their own unique cards and powers, making them all different and diverse to play. Since you can mix and match what heroes should be on your team as well as choosing the villain and environment to play in, every match is a new challenge and allows for a lot of variety.


The gameplay can be a bit much at first, so you might need a few matches to get used to it. Once you get the hang of it though, the match will flow much smoother and in a pinch there is always the undo button.

In conclusion Sentinels of Earth-Prime is a great card battler that involves a lot of strategy and can keep you busy for quite a while.

Also the game get bonus points for being fully compatible with SotM which allows for tons of combinations of heroes, villains and environments.

Potionomics is an exceptional combination of various genres all fused into one game. You run your own potion shop in a resource-management game fashion. Get ingredients, combine them into the best possible potion and steadily upgrade your shop and equipment as you progress through the game. Selling your potions is the part where it gets interesting; you will have to haggle in order to make a profit and the way to do so is structured like a deck building card battler. Play cards to raise the customers interest, prevent yourself from building up too much stress and seal the deal before the patron runs out of patience.
If you want to get your mitts on some better cards for these haggling sessions, you will encounter the third aspect of Potionomics: the dating sim. Hang out with the other merchants in town and make them presents to boost your relationship. In turn you will learn some helpful tips from them about running a business, get some discounts on their services and maybe even find love.
All of these elements work together surprisingly well and create a very appealing gameplay loop.

In addition to the great gameplay, the game offers a variety of charming characters, some delightful animations and great humour.

Potionomics feels like three games fused into one but manages to make all of them appealing and connect them into one great experience. It’s really a kind of video game I have never seen and I can only recommend that you try it for yourself.

Symphony of War ist taktisches, rundenbasiertes Rpg bei dem ihr die Rolle eines Kommandanten übernehmt und in die Schlacht zieht. Die große Besonderheit dieses Spiels ist dabei, dass die Einheiten komplett selbst zusammengestellt werden können. Anstatt die Armee in verschiedene Einheitentypen einzuteilen, ist es beispielsweise möglich, einen Trupp aus einer Reihe Kavallerie zu erstellen und ihnen dann ein paar Bogenschützen als Verstärkung zu geben. Jede Art von Soldat hat dabei natürlich seine eigenen Stärken, die es möglichst effektiv auszunutzen gilt.

Das Gameplay macht wirklich Spaß und es gibt jede Menge Möglichkeiten seine Truppen anzupassen, die in dieser Form wirklich eine Seltenheit sind. Anfangs mag es etwas kompliziert wirken, aber nach ein paar Schlachten findet man sich schon in das System ein.

Ein paar kleinere Mängel gibt es, aber nicht allzu weltbewegendes. Mal funktioniert die Musik nicht richtig, oder ein Trupp lässt sich in der Übersicht nicht richtig anordnen. Zudem sind hier und da kleinere Fehler in der Übersetzung.

Zusammenfassend ist das Spiel definitiv sein Geld wert. Ich kann es allen Liebhabern von Strategiespielen wirklich empfehlen.

Much like its predecessor, Shadows over Loathing combines Point-and-Click style riddles with Rpg fights and gameplay aspects.
While the graphics may appear lacklustre at first, they do provide a very unique charme and fit in well with the general wackiness of the game. Combined with some good tunes they set the stage for this very fun adventure.
And fun is the main aspect of this game. There is a joke at every opportunity, lots of silly things happen and silly items are waiting for you to find them. This game pretty much never takes itself seriously, but can seriously make you laugh.

Compared to West of Loathing, this time there is a more coherent storyline for you to follow, giving the game more structure. In addition to that, Shadows over Loathing implements some quality of life changes that make it easier to play and navigate. With this it manages to be an even better experience than the last game.

All in all I can only recommend this game. With Shadows over Loathing you are in for a great time and a lot of laughs.

This game is a very fun turn based card battler, in which you are trying to defeat a super villain with a team of heroes. Every villain brings a different challenge to the table with a unique set of rules as well as their own deck. In addition every hero has a unique set too and the environment you’re fighting in influences the fight in different ways as well. This allows for a lot of variety so every fight is distinct.

While the content of the base game isn’t that big, the two season passes have more than enough content to keep you busy for quite a while if you want more.

The combat system takes a bit of getting used to and the tutorial doesn’t do the best job explaining it, so it might take a few matches until you get the hang of it. Otherwise Sentinels of the Multiverse is a very fun game with a lot of challenges and replay value.

If you enjoy card battlers, then you should definitely take a look at this one.

Vampire Survivors is a fantastic action-roguelite game in which you face enormous hordes of enemies to collect riches and slay more enemies.
The game itself is pretty simple. Your weapons fire automatically, you just have to move around to avoid damage and collect experience crystals.Every level up gives you new weapons to choose from or the chance to upgrade the ones you already have. Repeat until you die or the time is up (and eat a lot of roast chicken in the process).

It's one of those games where you go in thinking to just try out a few rounds to see what all the fuss is about and then all of a sudden four hours have passed without you noticing. Vampire Survivors is not only surprisingly fun, but also has a ton of unlockables to work towards. This includes characters, items, stages and a lot more, so you can really sink some time into, if you want.

Music and graphics have a nice retro feel to them and fit well together with the gameplay which is also simple but charming.
Be careful though if you have trouble with epilepsy, the game flashes a lot sometimes.

In summary: a fantastic game and a fantastic way to waste an afternoon without realising.

Wargroove ist ein rundenbasiertes Strategiespiel bei dem ihr eure Armee in die Schlacht führt. Das Spiel hat einiges an taktischer Tiefe da es nicht nur zu beachten gilt, welche Einheiten gut oder schlecht sind gegen die feindlichen Truppen, sondern auch wie ihr sie positioniert, auf was für einem Feld diese steht und wie sie einen kritischen Treffer landen kann. Das Spiel ist standardmäßig recht anspruchsvoll, gibt einem aber die Möglichkeit die Schwierigkeit individuell anzupassen.

Das Spiel punktet mit vielen sympatischen Charakteren und lässt euch auch gelegentlich in die Rolle der Antagonisten schlüpfen. Der Grafikstil und die Musik sind gut gelungen und runden das Spielerlebnis schön ab.

Neben der Hauptkampagne gibt es mit dem kostenlosen DLC noch eine zweite Koop-Kampagne, einen Arcade- sowie einen Puzzlemodus und die Möglichkeit lokal oder online im Multiplayer zu spielen. Es ist außerdem möglich eigene Schlachten und sogar ganze Kampagnen zu erstellen.

Zusammengefasst ein sehr schönes Strategiespiel mit viel Inhalt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Dragon Quest XI ist ein sehr gutes klassisches RPG mit jeder Menge Content Es gibt eine riesige, vielfältige Welt zu erkunden, eine Unmenge von Monstern zu besiegen und diverse Haupt- und Nebenquests zu erledigen. Kurzum: Es gibt viel zu tun.
Dieses Abenteuer bestreitet man dabei mit einer Gruppe von interessanten und liebenswerten Charakteren, die einem schnell ans Herz wachsen. Dabei sind alle wichtigen Szenen im Spiel auch noch voll vertont (auf Englisch). Das gesamte Spiel lässt sich dabei wahlweise in modernem 3D oder als 2D Pixelart genießen. Einzig die Musik wird mit der Zeit etwas nervig, aber die lässt sich in den Optionen auf die eines anderen Dragon Quest Teils umstellen.

Das Gameplay besteht zum Großteil aus rundenbasierten Kämpfen und dem Erkunden der Spielwelt. Sehr praktisch ist dabei, dass einem immer angezeigt wird welche Charaktere wichtige Tipps oder neue Missionen haben und welche einfach nur plaudern wollen. So kann der Spieler selbst entscheiden, ob man viel Zeit in einer Stadt verbringen möchte, oder einfach nur die wichtigsten Punkte abklappern möchte. In jedem Fall bietet Dragon Quest XI wirklich viel Content, sodass man einiges an Zeit mit diesem Spiel verbringen kann.

Sehr zu empfehlen für alle Fans von RPGs, egal ob sie die Dragon Quest Reihe schon kennen oder nicht.

Littlewood is a very cute and chill game in which you are the mayor of a small town that needs rebuilding. You mainly gather resources for new buildings, upgrades and decorations in order for your town to become the best it could be.

The gameplay is pretty simple, yet really enjoyable and is just perfect for a chill time. The pixel art style is quite cute and fits in pretty well with the game. While the music is nice, a bit more variety would be good.

Variety in general is something the game would profit from. Especially the dialogues with your townsfolk start to repeat a bit early and some more things for them to say would have a positive impact on long term motivation and also character development.

That said, I can still very much recommend this game to those who enjoy town building simulations and laid back games like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing.
