I accidentally left the starboard diesel air starter wheel cracked open. Within minutes, the chief came to the engine room and yelled "AIR LEAK! WHO DID IT??". Everyone went silent and looked in my direction, as I was standing right next to an obviously loud hissing valve. I said "NOT ME" and shut the valve. Chief says, "I didn't see anything. Carry on" 10/10 would diesel again

I play this game to psychologically abuse and dominate unwitting victims from behind a riot shield. Through my little plexiglass aperture, I see them panic and run away, or mag-dump fruitlessly into my shield, or even throw grenades in a feckless attempt at resistance. Sometimes, I flashbang them with my shield and just watch them lose their composure. Inevitably, abject fear grips them, they turn their back, a self-defense moment occurs.

(really though, this game is horribly changed from Year 1 and the only enjoyment I get out of it is playing shields. Play at your own risk)

This game has taken years off the life of my "E" key. Somehow, it just keeps us coming back for more, and it always delivers. The skill ceiling is every bit as hard as Starcraft. I wouldn't be surprised if we're still playing this when I'm 40.

There is no greater pleasure than spending an hour chunking 600+ mortar rounds at the enemy to get 16 kills. You just know you were a giant pain in the ass. Sit there, crack open a beer, THUNK, THUNK, THUNK. THIS is living.

Fantastic competitive shooter. Universally acclaimed, pro scene is huge, gameplay is challenging with an extremely high skill ceiling.

Be prepared for 64 tick servers, awful teammates and nonexistent hit registration.

Betting scene is also huge.
